Standard and Basic Competences
There are four standard competences for English lesson of
Junior High School in School-Based Curriculum. Those are:
1. Listening
2. Speaking
3. Reading
4. Writing
LISTENING
Standard Competences
-Understanding the meaning of very simple transactional and
interpersonal conversation for interacting with closest
environment.
-Understanding the meaning of very simple short functional oral
text for interacting with closest environment.
LISTENING
In listening skill we can use video which contains interpersonal
conversation. We listen the whole conversation carefully and
writing down whether the speakers said in a piece of paper.
Then, we practice on pronouncing those words.
In addition, we can also use song to improve our listening skill.
We write down the lyric of the song and practicing to pronounce
the words.
