ABSTRAK
PENGARUH KOMITMEN PENGURUS TERHADAP EFEKTIVITAS
ORGANISASI PADA HIMPUNAN MAHASISWA PENDIDIKAN
MANAJEMEN PERKANTORAN

Fokus masalah yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah efektivitas organisasi
pada Himpunan Mahasiswa Pendidikan Manajemen Perkantoran yang belum
optimal. Kondisi tersebut ditandai dengan tidak tercapainya program-program
kerja yang telah ditentukan di awal kepengurusan, banyaknya pengurus yang
kurang berpartisipasi aktif dalam kegiatan yang dilaksanakan oleh Himpunan.
Hal-hal tersebut berpotensi menjadi penghambat bagi tercapainya tujuan
organisasi tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran
komitmen pengurus, gambaran efektivitas organisasi, dan pengaruh komitmen
pengurus terhadap efektivitas organisasi pada Himpunan Mahasiswa Pendidikan
Manajemen Perkantoran.
Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif. Data
dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan angket yang diperoleh dari seluruh pengurus.
Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji regresi linier sederhana.
Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa persepsi responden terhadap kedua
variabel berada pada kategori sedang. Dari penelitian hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh
bahwa variabel komitmen pengurus berpengaruh positif terhadap variabel
efektivitas organisasi.
Setiap indikator pada kedua variabel merupakan hal yang harus diupayakan
untuk ditingkatkan. Hal ini dikarenakan hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa setiap
indikator pada kedua variabel berada pada kategori sedang. Efektivitas organisasi
dapat ditingkatkan melalui peningkatan komitmen pengurus, yaitu (1)
merumuskan tujuan organisasi secara jelas dan spesifik, (2) tujuan organisasi
disosialisasikan kepada para pengurus, dan (3) para pengurus dilibatkan secara
optimal untuk menumbuhkan loyalitas pengurus.

The problem is examined in this research is the organizational
effectiveness on of the Student Association Office Management Education
Program (HIMAPENA) which is not optimal. It is characterized by the failured to
achieve the programs which has been decided in early period and also from the
lack of board who do not actively participate in the program which held by that
organization. Those things potential to inhibit the achievement the organization
goals. This research aims to describe the description of the board commitment,
the description of the organizational effectiveness, and the influence of the board
commitment on the organizational effectiveness of the Student Association Office
Management Education Program.
The research method used was descriptive research method. The data was
collected by using questionairres obtain from all of the Board. The data analysis
technique used was a simple linear regression test.
The analysis shows that respondence persception to the two variables are
in the middle category. The hypothesis test results that the board commitment
variable have a positive influence to the organizational effectiveness variable.
Each of indicators on the two variables was things that have to be
increased. Because of the analysis results show that each of indicators on the two
variables was in the middle category. The organizational effectiveness could be
increased by increasing the board commitment, they are (1) try to convert the
organization goals statement into specifics and clearly, (2) the organization goals
was socialized to all of the board, and (3) each of the board was participated
optimally to raise their loyality.
