ABSTRAK

Bandung. Dr.Nuriyah Asri, M.Si selaku dosen pembimbing. Program Studi D III
PAKT Penyiaran, Fakultas Ilmu Komunikasi Universitas Padjadjaran.
Tujuan dari penulisan Laporan Tugas Akhir ini adalah untuk mengetahui latar
belakang dan Peran Staf Produksi di MGT Radio. Dilihat dari proses produksi
yang dilakukan di MGT Radio Bandung.
Metode yang digunakan dalam menyusun Laporan Tugas Akhir ini adalah
metode deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik observasi, wawancara
langsung, dan studi kepustakaan.
Hasil studi menunjukan bahwa dalam proses produksi harus dilakukan dengan
kecepatan waktu dan memahami isi materi yang diberikan oleh produser. Pada
saat memproduksi suatu produk seorang produksi harus menguasai peralatan
rekam dari berbagai software editing dan memilik kepekaan terhadap kualitas
audio, selain itu harus mencari metode untuk mengkombinasikan bermacam –
macam sumber bunyi atau elemen siaran menjadi sebuah produk yang spesifik.
Beberapa saran yang ingin diberikan adalah, sebelum memproduksi sebaiknya
gunakan waktu sebaik mungkin, jika proses produksi selesai sebaiknya dicek
sebelum disiarkan agar tidak terjadi kesalahan atau revisi. Pada saat memberikan
materi untuk seorang produksi sebaiknya diberikan dengan tepat waktu hal ini
untuk dapat mencegah keterlambatan pada saat menyiarkan khusunya untuk
materi news.

The purpose for this writing final paper is to know the background and the role
of the production staff at MGT Radio. Judging from the production process
performed in MGT Radio Bandung.
The method used in this arranging final paper is descriptive method. File were
collected through observation, interview, and literature study.
The study results showed that in the production process have to do with the
speed of time and understand the contents of material which provided by the
producer. In the producing process the producer should be able to handle
recording equipment from a variety of editing software and pick a sensivity to the
audio quality, but it also have to find a method to combine a wide range sound
source or broadcast element into specific product.
Some suggestions are need to be given, before producing it should use the time
as good as possible, if the production process is already completed it should be
checked before broadcast and will be useful to avoid some mistakes or revisions.
At the time for giving material for a production, it should be given with a timely
manner to prevent any delays of broadcast itself, especially for the material

Hasil studi menunjukan bahwa dalam proses produksi harus dilakukan dengan
kecepatan waktu dan memahami isi materi yang diberikan oleh produser. Pada
saat memproduksi suatu produk seorang produksi harus menguasai peralatan
rekam dari berbagai software editing dan memilik kepekaan terhadap kualitas
audio, selain itu harus mencari metode untuk mengkombinasikan bermacam –
macam sumber bunyi atau elemen siaran menjadi sebuah produk yang spesifik.
Beberapa saran yang ingin diberikan adalah, sebelum memproduksi sebaiknya
gunakan waktu sebaik mungkin, jika proses produksi selesai sebaiknya dicek
sebelum disiarkan agar tidak terjadi kesalahan atau revisi. Pada saat memberikan
materi untuk seorang produksi sebaiknya diberikan dengan tepat waktu hal ini
untuk dapat mencegah keterlambatan pada saat menyiarkan khusunya untuk
materi news.
