BRIEF SUMMARY

The writer did observation about the work of a secretary in PT. Tripilar Betonmas
Salatiga on 16th March 2015. Secretary is a person who assists the task of leader. A secretary
has to always be ready to help the task of leadership.Sometimes leadership task is not done as
it should be because of lack of attention to the things that are not real details apart from the
leader task. The writer will analyze that almost all of the roles of secretary in PT. Tripilar
Betonmas are match with the theories. As an example, one of scretary’s task is as an
intermediary between the leader and other employees. She also arranges the leader’s schedule
and prepare everything he needs for an important meeting. But there is a bit mismatch
between what the writer observed and the theory she learnt before. Secretary at PT. Tripilar

Betonmas does not have its own authority in managing other employees.
