Abstract
Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) is a communication system
that uses multiple antennas both in transmitter and receiver. The benefits
of using MIMO systems are the abilities to reduce error through diversity
technique as well as to increase data rate during multiplexing technique.
Nowadays multiplexing technique is needed to increase the data rate of
the new generation 4G. MIMO system is being used in WLAN
communication system 802.11n that creates the increase of data rate
goes up to 100 Mbps. The result showed that implementation of MIMO
system had been proven to increase performance of wireless
communication systems.
