ABSTRACT
Triple Negative Breast Cancer is a type of breast cancer that does not
express estragon receptors (ER), progesterone receptors and human-epidermal
growth factor receptor (HER-2). Approximately 20-25% of all breast cancer
patients has Triple negative breast cancer (TNBC)
Tumour-Infiltrating
Lymphocytes is a tye of white blood cells that exist around the tumour and
functions to kill tumour cells and the existence of the cells are always correlated
with better prognosis for the patients. The purpose of this is to observe the
relationship between Tumour-Infiltrating Lymphocytes (TILs) and the
histopatological grading of triple negative breast cancer. This research is an
analytical type of research with a cross sectional design and using total sampling
method which is done in RSUP Haji Adam Malik Medan Hospital. The total
number of sample for this research is 17 patients. The result of this research
concluded that the highest age group that was diagnosed with triple negative
breast cancer is 50-59 years old which is at 58,8%. Histopatological grading of

grade II is the most common with the triple negative breast cancer patient.
Histopatological grading is most commonly found with minimal Tumour Infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) and with 9 patient with Grade II histopatological
grading.
