Abstract
The design of the door control applications remotely using SMS is essentially
implemented as a server remote control for the door and as an alternative to the use of a
lock on the door. Through a media remote control, application design takes advantage of
wireless communication technology and mobile technology. In the design process of the
remote control is applying by using the SMS Gateway technology to control a miniature
door and inform the state of its doors and data information based on the data from the
data base. The introduction of the GSM modem commands to the device to be able to
move the miniature doors because of the microcontroller is with AT Commands. The
model used is a system design prototype models. The results show the design of the work
process system for controlling a miniature door using the SMS medium successfully used.

Abstrak
Perancangan aplikasi pengendalian pintu jarak jauh dengan menggunakan SMS
ini pada intinya diterapkan sebagai server pengendali jarak jauh untuk pintu dan sebagai
alternatif dari penggunaan sebuah kunci pada pintu. Melalui sebuah media remote
control, perancangan aplikasi ini memanfaatkan teknologi komunikasi tanpa kabel dan
teknologi seluler. Pada perancangan ini menerapkan proses remote control dengan
menggunakan teknologi SMS Gateway untuk mengontrol sebuah miniatur pintu dan
menginformasikan keadaan pintu serta informasi data penggunanya berdasarkan data dari
data base. Pengenalan perintah untuk modem GSM agar perangkat miniatur pintu dapat
bergerak karena adanya Microcontroller adalah dengan AT Commands. Model
perancangan sistem yang digunakan adalah model Prototype. Hasil perancangan
menunjukkan proses kerja sistem untuk mengontrol sebuah miniatur pintu dengan
menggunakan media SMS berhasil digunakan.
