Pengalaman Komunikasi Penulis Novel Best Seller.

Fakultas Ilmu Komunikasi, Universitas Padjadjaran. Penelitian ini berjudul
“Pengalaman Komunikasi Penulis Novel Best Seller , sebuah Studi Fenomenologi
Mengenai Konstruksi Makna Profesi Penulis dan Karya Tulis Melalui
Pengalaman Komunikasi Penulis Novel Best Seller ” dengan pembimbing Dr. Hj.
Hanny Hafiar, S.Sos., M.Si, selaku ketua komisi pembimbing dan Drs. Dian
Wardiana, M.Si, selaku anggota komisi pembimbing
Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk memahami konstruksi makna profesi
penulis dan karya tulis yang dihasilkan oleh penulis novel best seller serta
pengalaman komunikasi mereka dengan lingkungannya sehingga menghasilkan
karya best seller . Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan
metode fenomenologi. Data diperoleh dengan melakukan wawancara mendalam,
observasi, dan studi dokumentasi kepada 8 narasumber.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Penulis novel best seller
memaknai penulis sebagai Profesi Mata Pencaharian, Aktualisasi diri, Passion,
Inspirator dan Motivator, dan Media Terapi, 2) Karya tulis dimaknai oleh penulis
novel best seller sebagai barang berharga, potret zaman, masa lalu, dan sumber
pencerah, 3) Pengalaman komunikasi yang diperoleh penulis novel best seller
dengan lingkungan dalam proses menghasilkan karya best seller meliputi

pengalaman komunikasi positif dan negatif dari keluarga,rekan sesama penulis,
pembaca dan penerbit, 4) Status penulis novel best seller menghasilkan makna
baru bagi diri penulis baik berupa status sosial maupun status ekonomi

entitles “Communication Experiences of Best seller Novelist, a phenomenological
study about meaning construction of writer as profession and his work through
the novelist’s communication experiences is under supervision of Dr. Hj. Hanny
Hafiar, S.Sos., M.Si, as chair of supervisor and Drs. Dian Wardiana, M.Si, as
member of supervisor.
The purpose of the research was to understand the meaning construction
of writer as profession, its work written by best seller novelist and their
communication experiences with its environment that result on best seller works.
The approach of this research was qualitative with phenomenology as method
used. The data was collected by doing in depth interview, observation, and

literature studies to eight key informants.
The result showed that 1) the writer is seen as profession, livelihood, self
actualization, passion, aspirator and motivator, and therapy medium, 2)Best
seller novelist saw their work as their treasure, portrait of era, past and
lightening sources,
3) Best Seller novelist got positive and negative
communication experiences from the environment during the writing process,
4)Best seller status result on new meaning for novelist either social status or
economical status.
