KESIMPULAN
7.1 Kesimpulan
Dari hasil percobaan uji kadar logam SO42- pada air sampel hasil
demineralisasi

water

mengguanakan

spektrofotometri

yang

telah

dilakukan

dengan larutan standar yang besarnya yaitu 0 ppm ; 200 ppm ; 400 ppm ; 600
ppm ; 800 ppm didapat hasil absorbansi berturut-turut yaitu 0,0 ; 2,6 ; 5,1; 10,4;
13,1. Sedangkan untuk larutan sampel diambil setiap 7 menit sekali. Absorbansi

sampel yang didapat adalah 48 ; 46 ; 43 ; 40 ; 39. Sehingga menurut perhitungan
didapatkan konsentrasi sampel larutan berturut-turut adalah 2535,52 ; 2426,23 ;
2262,30 ; 2098,36 ; 2043,72..
Dapat disimpulkan bahwa setiap penambahan waktu pada air sumur DIII
Teknik yang telah melewati alat demineralisasi water nilai dari kadar logam sulfat
(SO42- ) yang didapat akan semakin berkurang.
7.2 Saran
Dilakukan penelitian lanjut tentang penurunan kadar logam Mn dalam air
karena sulfat (SO42-) akan membangun kerak dalam jaringan pipa, tangki
bertekanan,pemanas air dan peralatan pelunakan air.
