ABSTRAK

Perkembangan aplikasi web yang semakin pesat sejak munculnya teknologi
internet sangat membantu dalam kemudahan serta kecepatan pengiriman,
penyampaian dan penerimaan informasi. Mulai dari perusahaan-perusahaan,
sekolah-sekolah, perguruan tinggi, dan lembaga atau organisasi lainnya telah
banyak memanfaat aplikasi web dalam kegiatan penjualan, promosi, belajar dan
kegiatan lainnya. Demikian juga halnya dengan SMA Negeri 15 Medan
khususnya sangat memerlukan website sebagai sarana informasi sekolah. Untuk
itu penulis mencoba untuk merancang suatu sistem informasi berbasis web yang
diharapkan dapat mengatasi kelemahan dari sistem

kerja yang selama ini

berjalan, khususnya informasi mengenai sekolah dan pengelolaan nilai siswa
SMA Negeri 15 Medan.

ABSTRACT

The rapid development of web applications since the advent of internet technology
is very helpful in the ease and speed of delivery, delivery and acceptance of
information. Starting from companies, schools, colleges, and institutions or other
organizations have been benefiting many web applications in sales, promotions,
learning and other activities. Likewise with SMAN 15 Medan in particular need
the website as a means of school information. For that the writer tries to design a
web-based information system that is expected to overcome the weakness of the
working system that has been running, especially information about schools and
management of student value SMA Negeri 15 Medan.
