In this experiment, you are required to determine the heat of displacement of copper
by using different metals.
Dalam eksperimen ini, anda dikehendaki menentukan haba penyesaran bagi kuprum
menggunakan logam berbeza.


You are provided with:
 0.2 mol dm-3 copper (II) sulphate solution
 Metal powder labeled Mg
 Metal powder labeled Zn
Anda dibekalkan dengan:
 Larutan kuprum (II) sulfat 0.2 mol dm-3
 Serbuk logam berlabel Mg
 Serbuk logam berlabel Zn

Procedure:
1. Measure 50 cm3 of 0.2 mol dm-3 copper (II) sulphate solution and pour it into a
polystyrene cup.
2. Put the thermometer into the copper (II) sulphate solution.
3. Record the initial temperature of the solution.
4. Add Mg powder until excess into the copper (II) sulphate solution.
5. Stir the mixture with the thermometer and record the highest temperature.
6. Repeat the steps 1 to 5 by replacing Mg with Zn
Prosedur:
1. Sukat 50 cm3 larutan kuprum (II) sulfat 0.2 mol dm-3 dan tuangkan ke dalam cawan
polistirena.

2. Masukkan termometer ke dalam larutan kuprum (II) sulfat.
3. Catatkan suhu awal larutan.
4. Tambahkan serbuk Mg hingga berlebihan ke dalam larutan kuprum(II) sulfat.
5. Kacau campuran dengan menggunakan termometer dan catatkan suhu tertinggi.
6. Ulangi langkah 1 hingga 5 dengan mengantikan serbuk Mg dengan Zn.
