SECTION C : QUESTION 1.

Last week, my family and I went for a picnic at the beach. We went there in the morning by car. My mother woke up early to prepare the food. She cooked fried noodles, nasi lemak and sandwiches. We reached there at about 10a.m. I saw the beach was crowded with people.

My father found a place under a shady tree. I helped my mother to laid the mat. My mother put all the things on the mat. Then, all of us enjoyed the food prepared by my mother. My family had a good time chatting and laughing while having our lunch.

Later, my brothers and I had fun building sandcastle. We also went swimming. The water was crystal clear. My father and mother were having a relaxing time and also enjoying the beautiful scenery. Soon it was time to go home.

We threw away all the rubbish into a garbage bag and packed our things. Although we were tired, we felt very happy. We had a great time at the beach.

QUESTION 2

Hani and May are neighbours and they each share the same hobby. Hani is keeping a cat as her pet. Hani named the cat Comel while May’s cat is called Fury. They always take good care of their cats. Every evening, they meet at the garden near their house to talk about their cat.

One day, while Hani and May were at the park, a bird flew by and perched on the branch of the tree. Comel heard the bird chirping and tried to find the sound. Then, Comel saw the bird and quickly tried to catch it. The bird flew away. Comel was too frightened to come down from the tree. It started meowing. May’s brother passed by and saw what had happened. He immediately carried Comel down.

Finally, May’s brother handed Comel to Hani. She thanked him for saving Comel. Hani hugged Comel tightly and she was happy that Comel did not get hurt. May was very proud of her brother.
