INTERNATIONAL STUI}ENTS FOR MASTER CAREERS
for Master careers {Laurea Specialistica} will appear shortly on the website
of University of Calabria {www.unical.it). lt will indicate the procedure for enrollment. At
University of Calabria all the careers reserve 10% of the available posts to international students.
1 - An announcement
2-According to ltalian law international students are required to pre-register at ltalian diplomatic
representations in a period usually starting mid May with a deadline which may vary depending
on the country and a requisite for the visa is a reasonabte knowledgL of ltalian language.
to make in parallel a UNICAL preregistration as indicated in the website, in order to receive a first evaluation of a possible acceptation and of a possible scholarship
{see below) so that they may start studying ltalian with sufficient anticipation with respect to the
visa interview.
3 - The candidates are invited
4- Generally the candidates are expected to provide in such pre-registration their CV, the list of
the exams taken in their bachelor career with programs and marks.
5 - After the preliminary acceptation of the pre-registration and after receiving the visa, accepted
students need to submit a formal application of registration. This must be done electronically
according to the procedure descrive under 1, usually in September.
6-Annual
Fees:
currently 650 Euros.
SCHOI,ARSHIPS FOR INTERNATIONAL MASTER STT'I}ENTS
The Universiti della Calabria has a program of scholarships for International Master students. This
grant covers lodging and boarding utilizing the services of the Residential Cente of the University.
A course of ltalian language at a special cost will also be offered
to International students.
In order to apply for these scholarships, international students must fill an on-line application
indicating the career in which they want to be enrolled and providing their personal data.
It is recommended to apply early because a first selection will be rnade priorto the completion of
the enrollment process. This will allow potentially successful students to start their study of ltalian
language sufficiently in advance.
