  Email: Abstrak Pendahuluan :

Psoriasis adalah suatu penyakit inflamasi kulit kronis yang dikarakteristikkan dengan

adanya hiperproliferasi keratinosit, gangguan diferensiasi, neoangiogenesis, dan

inflamasi. Patogenesis dari penyakit ini dianggap kompleks, namun dicurigai terdapat

peran Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF) yang merupakan regulator paling

poten dalam proses angiogenesis.

  Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui profil VEGF serum penderita psoriasis vulgaris. Metode:

Penelitian ini merupakan suatu studi deskriptif rancangan potong lintang. Pengukuran

kadar VEGF serum pada pasien psoriasis vulgaris dilakukan menggunakan metode

ELISA.

  Hasil :

Pada 25 penderita psoriasis vulgaris didapatkan dominasi sampel berjenis kelamin pria

yaitu sebanyak 17 orang (68%). Rerata usia adalah 40.84 tahun dengan subyek

penelitian terbanyak pada kelompok usia kurang dari 40 tahun sebanyak 14 orang

(56%).Suku terbanyak adalah suku Batak, sebanyak 12 orang (48%). Angka kejadian

psoriasis vulgaris memiliki frekuensi kejadian terbanyak pada kelompok durasi <5 tahun

sebesar 17 orang (68%). Berdasarkan onset penyakit, kelompok onset 15-30 tahun

merupakan yang terbanyak dengan frekuensi sebesar 11 orang (44%). Rerata BSA

subyek penelitian adalah 10.60% dengan frekuensi terbanyak pada BSA >10% yaitu

sebesar 11 orang (48%).

  Kesimpulan : Profil VEGF serum pada 25 pasien psoriasis vulgaris yaitu, mean VEGF serum sebesar

393.53 pg/mL. Predominasi pada jenis kelamin laki-laki, dengan frekuensi terbanyak

pada kelompok usia kurang dari 40 tahun.

of keratinocytes, impairement of cellular differentiation, neoangiogenesis, and

inflammation. The pathogenesis of the disease is considered to be complex, but there is a

suspicion of the role of Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF), which is the most

potent regulator of angiogenesis.

  Objective: To determine VEGF serum profile of psoriasis vulgaris patients. Method:

The design of this study is a cross-sectional descriptive. Measurement of serum VEGF

levels in patients with psoriasis vulgaris was performed using ELISA method.

  Result:

From 25 samples of patients with psoriasis vulgaris, male predomination was found

(68%). The mean age was 40.84 years with the majority in the age group less than 40

years as many as 14 people (56%). The largest tribe was Batak, as many as 12 people (48%). The incidence of psoriasis vulgaris had the highest frequency of occurrence in the

group of duration <5 years by 17 people (68%). Based on the onset of disease, onset

group 15-30 years was the highest with a frequency of 11 people (44%). The mean BSA

was 10.60% with the highest frequency in the BSA> 10% in the amount of 11 people

(48%).

  Conclusion: Mean serum VEGF was 393.53 pg / mL with male predominance and highest frequency in the age group less than 40 years.
