Abstract

This research is motivated by the absence of validity and reliability of evaluation
reading tool on moodle. This resea rch purposes is to answer: ((1)how is the collecting
data,(2)how is the design,(3)how is the validity of design,(4)how is the reliability of
design,(5)how is the revision of design,(6)how is the experiment of product,(7)how is the
revision of product,(8)how is the experiment of usage,(9)how is the revision of product)of
the tools of evaluation reading with moodle for high school exam in class X SMAN 4
Bandung academic year 20013/2014.
The methods used in this research is a Research a nd Development methods. Based
on the result and trial, the researcher prepared 20 questions of reading skills in moodle
obtained the result of trial 1 total 10 questions tha t has been used in trial 1. From the total
10 that has been used the result of reliability is 0,54 that is categorized enough. Validity
test showed 1 question has very low validity, 4 questions have low validity, 4 questions
have enough validity, and 1 question is not valid. The level of difficulty, 8 questions are
easy and 2 questions a re medium. discrimination power, 1 question ha s very poor
discrimination power, 3 question have medium discrimination power, and 6 questions have
good discrimination power.
