ABSTRAK
An experiment to callus initation leaf melinjo (Gnetum gnemon L.) to coral active concentration
with BAP and NAA compotition in-vitro was carried out in Tissuse culture Laboratorium of
Defartement of Agronomy, Faculty of Agriculture, Andalas Univercity Padang, from Juni to
Septmber 2001. The objective of experiment was to studied and found coral active concentration
with BAP and NAA compotition in the best to callusinitiation leaf melinjo explant to culture invitro. This experiment used factorial in Spilt plot Design with there replications. Main plot are
coral active concentration ie there levels : o,1 and 2 g/1. Spilt plot to consist of two factor.
Primary factor are BAP concentrtion ie there levels ; 0,2 and ppm BAP. Secondary factor are
NAA concentration ie there levels ; 0,2 and 4 ppm NAA was the best in grouwth leaf melinjo
explant, and coral active in concentration 1 g/1 medium showed optimum condition to grouwth
leaf melinjo explant to in-vitro.
