addresses the following question: What are the students’ perceptions towards teacher’s written
feedback in Expository and Argumentative Writing classes? The participants consisted of 20
students in English Department of Satya Wacana Christian University who already took the
Expository and Argumentative Writing class. The data came from semi-structured interviews.

grammar. The finding of this study also remind the teacher to choose their word carefully on
providing feedback and surely balance the feedback both the positive and negative.
