Correlation analysis was also performed
with other variables that may influence the decrease
in FVC (%) and FEV1 (%) predicted. The results of
this study indicate that the duration of illness has a
poor negative correlation with predicted value of
FVC (%) and FEV1 (%) with (r) respectively were 0.329 (p=0.008) and -0.341 (p=0.006), can be seen
in table 1.
