Bill Gates
• Saat masih kuliah di Harvard, rasa keingintahuan dan kemampuan
melihat potensi pasar (visioner) membuat Bill Gates tergerak untuk
menciptakan program piranti lunak Microsoft di tahun 1975
• Bill Gates mengawali bisnis Microsoft dari garasi rumahnya. Dalam
perjalanan bisnisnya, ia pun banyak mengalami rintangan termasuk
dengan munculnya dakwaan pelanggaran regulasi bisnis AS, seperti
memonopoli Internet Explorer pada sistem operasi Windows
• Bill Gates tidak putus asa. Ia terus mengembangkan piranti lunak
baru dengan pemasaran yang agresif, sehingga mampu
mendominasi dunia piranti lunak komputer dan internet

• Saat ini, Bill Gates menempati posisi sebagai Orang Terkaya No.2 di
dunia versi majalah Forbes. Sebelumnya, selama 13 tahun ia
menempati posisi pertama dalam orang terkaya di dunia versi
majalah Forbes

Facebook diawali dari kreatifitas Mark Zuckerberg saat kuliah di
Harvard yang ingin membuat program untuk saling mengenal bagi
para mahasiswa Harvard



Facebook diluncurkan pada tanggal 4 Februari 2004. Dalam kurun
waktu 4 bulan semenjak diluncurkan, Facebook telah ekspansi
dengan memiliki 30 kampus dalam jaringannya




Pada tahun 2004, investor mulai mengajukan tawaran kepada Mark
untuk membeli Faceebook. Facebook pun menerima sokongan dana
dari berbagai investor untuk pengembangan Facebook



Hanya dalam waktu relatif singkat facebook menempati 5 top site
dunia. Lebih dari 25 juta user aktif menggunakan Facebook setiap
harinya



Di umur baru 26 tahun, kekayaan Mark Zuckerberg sudah mencapai
hingga US$ 3 miliar atau sekitar Rp 27,9 triliun

Agus Pramono
• Berawal dari pedagang kaki lima Agus Pramono atau yang akrab disapa
“Mas Mono” memulai karirnya di tahun 2000 hanya dengan sebuah
gerobak kecil dan 5 ekor ayam.
• Tidak pernah terpikir oleh Mas Mono untuk menjadi seorang pedagang.

Karena untuk memulai usaha tidak perlu banyak berpikir, apalagi
menghitung rugi laba. Yang terpenting adalah action.
• Seiring dengan perkembangannya, Ayam Bakar Mas Mono
dikembangkan dalam bentuk waralaba. Jumlah cabangnya terus
bertambah dan sudah mencapai 29 outlet yang tersebar di
Jabodetabek.

• Pada tahun 2012 ini, Mas Mono sudah memilki 1.020 karyawan dan
omzet melambung menjadi Rp 5 miliar per bulan.
