ABSTRAK

Skripsi yang berjudul CHILDREN MENTAL DISORDER THROUGH THE
NAZI INVASION PORTRAYED IN LOUISE MURPHY’S NOVEL THE
TRUE STORY OF HANSEL AND GRETEL. Skripsi ini merupakan analisis yang
membahas kehidupan anak-anak pada masa invasi Nazi di Polandia berdasarkan
novel The True Story of Hansel and Gretel karya Louise Murphy. Adapun yang
menjadi tujuan penulis adalah untuk menginterpretasi pendertitaan dan dampak
psikologis dari invasi Nasi terhadap anak-anak. Adapun teori yang digunakan adalah
Psikoanalisi- Individual teori dari Alfred Adler dengan menggunakan metode
penelitian deskripsi kualitatif. Dari hasil penelitian ini didapatkan perlakuan inferior
Nazi terhadap anak anak dan juga ditemukan tiga dampak psikologis terhadap anakanak, seperti Panik, Depresi dan Dissosiative Amnesia.

ABSTRACT


This thesis entitled CHILDREN MENTAL DISORDER THROUGH THE NAZI
INVASION PORTRAYED IN LOUISE MURPHY’S NOVEL THE TRUE
STORY OF HANSEL AND GRETEL. This analysis focuses on the life of the
children during the Nazi invasion in Poland. The objectives of this thesis are in order
to describe the suffering that the children face during the invasion and to describe the
psychological impact of the Nazi Invasion on the children. The theory used in this
thesis is the Psychoanalysis- Individual Theory of Alfred Adler and the method used
in this thesis is qualitative descriptive. Of the result research, the writer found the
suffering of the children during the Nazi Invasion is inferiority and the psychological
impacts are Panic, Depression and Dissociative Amnesia.
