Abstract: The biggest smoking behavior begins in adolescence and become regular smokers
increased within a few years. One content of cigarettes is nicotine, have an effect on the brain
include led to dependence and toxicity in cognitive function that can affect cognitive function
decline will have an impact on the learning process and the acquisition of the final result.
The aim of research to determine the relationship of smoking behavior with learning
achievement of adolescent smokers in SMA N 1 Remboken. Design Research is an analytic
observational with cross sectional, population that all adolescent smokers who met the
inclusion criteria. This research sample 44 respondents obtained by using total sampling
technique. The instrument using questionnaire smoking behavior and observation sheet is the

results of student achievement. The results of the statistical test using Chi Square test at 95%
significance level (α ≤ 0.05), then the p value = 0.004. This means that the value of p
