HOW TO OPEN THE TRADING PLATFORM 1.

  Start your favorite browser 2. Typ

  ( for demo accounts ) on the your browser address box.

3. Enter your login number and password and click the Login button

INTRODUCTION TO THE TRADING PLATFORM

  Welcome to ET5 Trading Platform This is your default view of the platform.

  On the default view, the platform is separated into 3 sections: 1.

  The list of symbols on left section of the screen a.

   World Market b. Favorites 2.

  The Trade Board on middle section of the screen 3. The Chart just below the Trade Board 4. Trading Details on lower section of the screen a.

   Open Trade b. Pending Order c. Summary d. History e. News f. Mailbox g. Alert 5.

  Account info on top section of the screen a.

   Language b. User c. Sign Out d. Smart View e. Time

LIST OF SYMBOLS

  The list of symbol section is divided into two tabs: 1.

   World Market

  This tab contains all of the available symbols on your trading account, including tradeable and non-tradeable (reference) symbols. The bid quote, ask quote, high, low, and update time is shown next to respective symbols.

  Managing the World Market

  You can rearrange the order on which the symbols all shown. To rearrange the symbols, click the name of the symbol you like to move, drag-and-drop, and release the mouse button as shown below.

  You can double click on the “star” between low and time column to insert the symbol into the Favorite tab for easier management as shown below.

2. FAVORITES

  Contains all the favorites symbols you have selected on the WORLD MARKET tab

THE TRADE BOARD

  The TRADE BOARD provides you access to the symbols and the ability to trade directly on the screen with a press of a mouse button.

  Managing the TRADE BOARD Clicking the X on right top corner of each boxes will remove the symbol from the TRADE BOARD.

  To add new symbols to the TRADE BOARD, you can drag-and-drop symbols from the WORLD MARKET or

  FAVORITE. Shown below is the process of adding AUDNZD symbol from the WORLD MARKET by drag- and-dropping the symbol to the TRADE BOARD.

  Trading through the TRADE BOARD The TRADE BOARD makes it possible for you the trade on symbols. To trade, enter the desired volume ( in lot ) between the SELL and BUY button.

  Once you have entered the desired volume to trade, press the BUY button to buy the desired volume of that symbol, or press the SELL button to sell the desired volume of that symbol A confirmation dialog box will pop up on upper right corner of the screen following the request.

THE CHART

  The CHART section of the ET5 Trading Platform provides technical analysis tools for traders with the support of following features:

  • M1 (1 minute) to Monthly Time Frame -

  Five different candle stick colors and arrangements

  • Various line tools
  • Various oscillator and overlay indicators
  • Pattern recognition

  MANAGING THE CHART 1. Selecting Time Frame

  To select/change time frame, move your cursor to the upper section of the chart. A drop box will show up providing you access to the Time Frame option. Select on your desired Time Frame to change.

  You can select from M1, M5, M15, H1, H4, D1, W1, MN. Shown on the example is the H4 ( 4- hour) time frame of Spot Gold 100 oz chart.

2. Selecting Candle Stick Styles

  To select/change the candle stick styles, move your custor to the upper section of the chart. A drop box will show up. Select the second button from the left, a selection of candle stick styles will be presented. Select the one suitable to your preference.

  Shown on the example is the Red And Green candlestick style.

  3. Resizing Chart Window

  You can resize the chart window to your preferences, drag the border of the chart window and release it to resize the window.

  4. Chart Manipulation You can use keyboard keys ( <- or -> ) to move back/forth the chart shown on the screen.

  To show an accurate X and Y axis information of the chart, you can right click and hold to shown detailed information on the chart. To zoom in or out, use the scroll wheel on your mouse.

5. Inserting Line Studies

  To insert line studies to your analysis, move your cursor to the upper part of the chart until the dropdown box show up. Click the third button from the left and select the line study you would like to be added to the chart.

  Once clicking the button, click on the chart, hold, and release it at your desired point of analysis shown below as example To remove line studies you have applied on your chart, click on the line study and press the DELETE button on your keyboard.

6. Managing Indicators

  To insert and manage indicators to the chart, move your cursor the the upper part of the chart until a dropdox box show up, click on the first button from the left and select the desired indicators.

  Active indicators will be listed on upper left corner of the chart. To remove indicator, simply click on the X button on the indicator you like to be removed.

7. Pattern Recognition

  ET5 Trading Platform provides an extensive pattern recognition. The unique feature analyze and recognize patterns of candlestick formed on the chart and provides an additional learning tool for junior traders and advanced traders alike. On each chart ( depending on the chart style you have selected ), there will be highlights on the candlestick, you can move your cursor to the highlighted candlestick to gain insights on the pattern. Click on the highlighted candlestick and you will be presented with definition and detailed explanation of the pattern shown below.

THE TRADING DETAILS

  The bottom section of the trading platform is filled with crucial information in regards to your trading account. This section provides you access to your:

  • Open Trades -

  Pending Orders

  • Summary of Positions -

  Trade History

  • News -

  Mailbox

  • Alert 1.

   Open Trade Tab

  

position time, volume size, name of symbols, the open price, take profit/stop loss level,

commission charges, swap charges and profit/loss for each open positions.

  On the right section of each open positions, you can liquidate your open positions by clicking the CLOSE button.

  2. Pending Order Tab

  The Pending Order Tab list all of your pending orders: new limit orders including buy limits and

  sell limits; new stop orders including buy stops and sell stops. If you provided take profit and stop loss for the limit/stop orders, it will also be shown on each lines.

  To cancel pending order, click the CLOSE button on the right section of the ticket you would like to cancel.

  3. Summary Tab

  The Summary Tab provide you with a combined insight to your existing open trades. This tab combines and aggregates all of your open trades into each symbols for easier risk management.

  This tab provide traders with all of their open trades, including the ticket number, opening

  4. History Tab

  This section show the history of your trades made in the past. To request trading history, simply click on the interval or manually select the dates you would like to retrieve and press the

  REQUEST HISTORY button 5.

   News Tab

  As the name suggest, this section provide you with live news broadcasted from the brokerage company to the traders. The tab is divided into two parts, left section will be the title of the news, click on the title to have a more detailed reading of the news on the right section.

  6. Mailbox Tab The Mailbox tab is an internal messaging system between clients and the brokerage company.

  Announcement from the company will be broadcasted to you through this feature. You can also send us your messages through this tab.

  7. Alert Tab

  You can create alert to advise you if certain conditions for certain symbols are met. ET5 provide you with a selection of email alert and sound alert.

  8. Account Details

  On the lowest part of your screen is the detailed calculation of your account in regards to your trades. On this part of the screen you can see your Account Balance, Margin Requirement for your

  

open trades, Account Equity, your Free Margin, the Margin Level of your account and the

Unrealized Profit / Loss.

  When your Account reaches Margin Call Level, color of this section will change to red.

  ORDER MANAGEMENT 1. Creating New Order

  New instant/market trades can be made from two sections: a.

   The Market/Favorite b. Trade Board

  To create new instant/market trade from the Market/Favorite section, simply double click on

  the BID/ASK quote of the symbol you would like to trade. The system will present you with the trade input box shown below.

  You can select other symbols by clicking the SYMBOL dropdown box. Enter your desired volume ( in lot ) on the VOLUME option. You may also placed your Stop Loss / Take Profit before initiating the trade. Once everything is ready, click on the SELL or BUY button to enter new position. A notification will be shown on the top right corner of your screen for the trade.

  To create new instant/market trade from the Trade Board section, enter the desired volume ( in lot ) between the SELL and BUY button.

  Once you have entered the desired volume to trade, press the BUY button to buy the desired volume of that symbol, or press the SELL button to sell the desired volume of that symbol

  • *Note that when creating new order through the Trade Board, it is not possible to set SL/TP at the same time of the trade initiation. Setting the SL/TP can be done AFTER the trade is made.

  A confirmation dialog box will pop up on upper right corner of the screen following the request.

2. Modifying Open Orders

  To modify open orders, go to OPEN TRADE tab on the lower part of the system and double click on the order you would like to modify, shown below.

  A dialog box will show up after you double click the order, shown below.

  You can click on the position dropdown box to select other positions to modify. Enter your desired Stop Loss / Take Profit on the corresponding field and press UPDATE to modify your open position.

  A confirmation box will show upon upon completion of the request 3.

   Closing Open Order

  Closing an Open can be made from two section of the system: a.

   The Open Trade Tab b. The Modify Position Window

  To Close an Open Order from the Open Trade Tab, go to the Open Trade Tab and click on the

  CLOSE button on the right part of the order ticket you like to close

  • *Note, when closing an Open Order from the Open Tab ’s CLOSE button, it is not possible to

  

partial close the position. Partial Close of a position can only be made through the Modify

Position Window.

  To Close an Open Order from the Modify Position Window, double click an order ( just like you were about to modify open order ) , enter the desired volume to be closed ( for partial closing of order ), and press the

  orange CLOSE button, shown below.

  A confirmation box will show upon upon completion of the request 4.

   Creating New Limit / Stop Order

  The system is set to accomodate the following type of pending orders: o New buy limit order o New buy stop order o New sell limit order o New sell stop order

  To create the above mentioned pending order, double click on the BID/ASK quote of the symbol on the WORLD MARKET tab.

  A popup dialog will show up, click on the NEW PENDING ORDER tab as shown below.

  You can select the pending order type on the TYPE dropdown box. ( Buy Limit / Sell Limit / Buy Stop / Sell Stop ) You can also select other symbol to place Enter the desired level for the pending order on the PRICE field Enter the desired volume and optionally you can also set the Stop Loss / Take Profit.

  Check the EXPIRY tickbox to automatically cancel the pending order in the future. Once everything is set, click on the PLACE ORDER button.

  A confirmation box will show upon upon completion of the request 5.

   Modifying Limit/Stop Order

  Should you need to modify pending orders you have made and are still in pending status, you can do so by going to the PENDING ORDER section on the lower part of the system and double click on the pending order ticket you would like to modify, shown below.

  After double clicking the pending order ticket, a popup window will show up, click on MODIFY PENDING, shown below.

  You can select other existing pending orders to modify on the POSITION selection Enter the desired price target for the pending order activation on the PRICE box. You may also put Stop Loss or Take Profit for the pending order or expiration time if needed. Once everything is ready, click on the orange MODIFY button to modify the pending order A confirmation box will show upon upon completion of the request 6.

   Cancelling Pending Order

  You may cancel any active pending order by going through either the following option: a.

  Pending Order Tab b.

  Modify Pending Window To cancel an active pending order through Pending Order Tab, open the Pending Order Tab and click on the CLOSE button for the pending order you would like to cancel, shown below. To cancel an active pending order through Modify Pending Window, double click on the ticket inside the Pending Order Tab where you will be presented with a dialog box, select the MODIFY

  PENDING and click on the red DELETE button, shown below.

  A confirmation box will show upon upon completion of the request

  MISC INFORMATION 1. Language Selection

  To change the interface language selection, click on the language name on top of the screen shown below.

  Select your preferred language and the interface will be updated instantly.

  2. Changing Account Password

  To change your trading account password , click on the USER button on top of the screen. A window will show up, fill up the requested information and your account password will be updated instantly.

  3. Signing Out

  To sign out from the trading platform, simply click on the SIGN OUT button on top of the screen
