ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini berjudul “Hubungan Penggunaan Sumber Kekuasaan Kepala Sekolah
terhadap Efektifitas Kerja Guru di SMK 45 Lembang”. Secara umum penelitian ini
bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan penggunaan sumber kekuasaan kepala sekolah
terhadap efektivitas kerja guru di SMK 45 Lembang. Sumber Kekuasaan yang dimaksud
yaitu Rewa rd Power, Coercive Power, Legitimate Power , Expert Power, Referent Power,
Connection Power dan Information Power. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini
adalah metode asosiatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data
menggunakan angket tertutup yang disebar kepada 50 orang guru sebagai sampel
penelitian. Hasil perhitungan Weight Mean Score (WMS) , menunjukan bahwa
penggunaan sumber kekuasaan kepala sekolah di SMK 45 Lembang termasuk pada
kategori sangat baik dengan skor 4,06 dan efektivitas kerja guru termasuk pada kategori
sangat baik dengan skor 4,09. Hasil uji normalitas terhadap distribusi data menunjukan
bahwa variabel X dan variabel Y berdistribusi normal, selanjutnya analisis data
menggunakan statistik parametik. Analisis korelasi menggunakan Pearson Product
Moment, diperoleh koefisien korelasi antara variabel X dan variabel Y adalah sebesar
0,793 yaitu menunjukan bahwa korelasi kedua variabel berada pada tingkat hubungan
yang positif dan kuat. Sementara itu, hasil uji signifikasi dengan uji-t jika dibandingkan
yaitu

1,684) artinya terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara
variabel X dan variabel Y. Selanjutnya, hasil uji koefisien determinasi yaitu bahwa
variabel X memberikan kontribusi terhadap variabel Y sebesar 62,9% dan sisanya
dipengaruhi faktor lain. Hasil analisis regresi diperoleh persamaan Ŷ = 10,671 + 0,793 X.
Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan yang kuat dan signifikan antara
penggunaan sumber kekuasaan kepala sekolah terhadap efektifitas kerja guru di SMK 45
Lembang.

ABSTRACT
The tittle of this resear ch is “Correlation about the used principal sources of power with
effectiveness teacher work in SMK 45 Lembang”. Generally, the research is aimed at
studying the correlation between principal sources of power and teachers work in SMK
45 Lembang. The sources of power are Rewa rd Power, Coercive Power, Legitimate
Power, Expert Power, Referent Power, Connection Power and Information Power. The
method used in this research is associative method with quantitative approach. The data
collection techniques used in this research was a closed questionnaire and spread to 50
teachers as a research sample. Based on calculations using the formula Weight Mean
Scored (WMS), a general overview of used principal sources of power in the excellent
category with a score of 4,06 and effectiveness of teacher work in the excellent category
with a score of 4,09. Normality test result on the distribution showed that variables X and
Y are normally distributed, furthermore for data analysis used statistic parametric.
Correlation analysis used Pearson Product Moment, obtained correlation coefficient
between variables X and variables Y is 0,793 showed that two variables have positive and
strong correlation. Meanwhile, significant test result using the t-test compared that t
(9,025) > t table (1,684) showed that the correlation is significant between variable X
and variable Y. Furthermore, Coefficient determination result is variable X have
contribution to variable Y 62,9% and the rest influenced by other factors. Regression
analysis result equation is Ŷ= 10,671 + 0,793 X. Conclusion of the study is there strong
and significant correlation between used principal sources of power with effectiveness
teacher work in SMK 45 Lembang.
