Ilmu Komunikasi Universitas Padjajaran Bandung 2011. Melakukan penelitian
dengan judul “Hubungan Antara Informasi Website Kabupaten Kebumen
Dengan Pemenuhan Kebutuhan Informasi Karyawan Pemerintah
Kabupaten Kebumen”. Penelitian ini dibawah bimbingan Dra. Feliza Zubair,
M.Si., sebagai Pembimbing Utama dan FX. Ari Agung P., S.Sos.,M.Si., sebagai
Pembimbing Pedamping. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dari penelitian ini adalah
untuk mengetahui sejauhmana hubungan antara Informasi Website Kabupaten
Kebumen “kebumenkab.go.id” dengan Pemenuhan Kebutuhan Informasi
Karyawan Sekretariat Daerah Kabupaten Kebumen (kebutuhan kognitif,
kebutuhan afektif, kebutuhan integrasi personal, kebutuhan integrasi sosial dan
kebutuhan pelepasan). Teori dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Information
Seeking (Sendjadja 1994:218).
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode korelasional, dengan teknik
pengumpulan data: angket, wawancara, dan studi pustaka. Populasi dalam
penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan sekretariat daerah Kabupaten Kebumen
yang terdiri dari 199 orang, kemudian untuk pengambilan sampel menggunakan
Proportionate Stratified Randaom Sampling yaitu 67 orang. Pengolahan data
dilakukan dengan menggunakan Rank Spearman dan Split Half.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Informasi website
kebumenkab.go.id mempunyai hubungan yang cukup berarti dan signifikan
dengan pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi karyawan Sekretariat Daerah Kabupaten
Kebumen. Adanya hubungan yang terkait terkait dengan kebutuhan kognitif,
kebutuhan afektif, kebutuhan integrasi personal, kebutuhan integrasi sosial, dan
kebutuhan pelepasan.
Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan antara pencarian
informasi dengan pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi yang disajikan pada website
dinilai oleh pegawai sudah dapat memenuhi kebutuhan kebutuhan informasi
mereka. Dilihat dari pengaksesan website yang dilakukan oleh para pegawai,
dapat dibuktikan bahwa para pegawai merasa kebutuhan informasi akan
kebutuhan kognitif, kebutuhan afektif, kebutuhan integrasi personal, kebutuhan
integrasi sosial dan kebutuhan pelepasankaryawan sekretariat daerah Kabupaten
Kebumen.
Adapun saran dari penelitian ini adalah sebaiknya pihak pengurus website
dan humas Sekda Kebumen lebih sering berkordinasi dalam penyempurnaan
website, karena masih ada beberapa informasi yang masih belum terisi.

With Information Fulfillment Kebumen Government Employees”.
This research under the guidance of Dra. Feliza Zubair, M.Si., as the main
adviser and FX. Ari Agung P., S.Sos.,M.Si., as a Conselor. The purpose to be
achieved from this research is to find determine the extent of the relationship
between Information Website Kebumen "kebumenkab.go.id" with Employee
Information Fulfillment Kebumen Regional Secretariat (cognitive needs, affective
needs, personal integrative needs, social integrative needs, and escapist needs).
The theory in this research is using Informations Seeking Theory (Sendjadja
1994:218).
This research uses the correlational method, with data collection
techniques, which are questionnaire, interview, and a study of literature. The
population in this study were all employees of the secretariat Kebumen area
consisting of 199 peoples, and then to use the sampling Proportionate Stratified
Sampling Randaom ie 67 peoples. The data processing is conducted using Rank
Spearman and Split Half.
The results of this research indicate that the Information
kebumenkab.go.id website has a significant relationship with compliance
requirements and significant employee information Kebumen Regional
Secretariat. Associated correlation associated with cognitive needs, affective
needs, personal integrative needs, social integrative needs, and escapist needs.
The conclusion from this research is there is a relationship between
information seeking to fulfill the needs of the information presented on the website
was rated by employees are able to meet the needs of their information needs.
Judging from accessing a website made by the employee, it can be proven that the
employee feels the need for the information needs of cognitive needs, affective
needs, personal integrative needs, social integrative needs, and escapist needs of
regional secretariat employee in Kebumen.
The advice of this research is the public relations committee and Secretary
Kebumen websites more frequently to coordinate the improvement of the website,
because there are still some information that is not yet filled.
