Statistical Capacity Building-Change and Reform for the Development of Statistics (STATCAP-CERDAS)
Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services. The objective of the STATCAPCERDAS project is to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the Indonesian National Statistics Office
(BPS-Statistics Indonesia) to produce and disseminate reliable and timely statistics in accordance with
international standards and best practices, and to be responsive to user needs.
BPS-Statistics Indonesia (BPS) seeks a reputable firm to provide consulting services for the design and
implementation of Statistical Applications to support and manage the core statistical production and
dissemination processes for their National Statistics Office.
The co sulti g ser ices the “er ices i clude:

that will be a mixture of customized
commercial off the shelf (COTS) software and custom applications designed and built by the
consultant.
2.

Designing, building and implementing BPS Statistical Applications with reference to statistical
standards and specifications based on Generic Statistical Business Process Model (GSBPM) and
Generic Statistical Information Model (GSIM).

3.

Designing, implementing and rolling out of BPS Statistical Applications which should be flexible,
modular, extensible and scalable. Preference will be given to customized commercial off the shelf
(COTS) software where appropriate.

BPS would like to invite eligible co sulti g fir s Consultants to indicate their interest in providing the
Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required
qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. At the minimum, the expression of
interest should contain the following:

1.

Information about the firm.

2.

Experience in similar assignments in last 5 years (describe - project name, location, year, duration,
project value in USD and scope).

3.

Evidence of relevant skills and experience among consultants.

Consultants may associate with other firms in the form of a joint venture or a sub-consultancy to enhance
their qualifications.
Consultants will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the World Ba k’s Guideli es:
Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Ba k Borro ers dated May 2004, Revised October
1, 2006 & May 1, 2010 ("Consultant Guidelines"), setting forth the World Bank's policy on conflict of
interest.
Expressions of interest must be delivered in a written form to the address below (in person or by mail) or
