As parents affects on the family, also, children with their
personality and behavioral growth characteristics affects on
parenting behavior too. Studies have shown that children of
mothers who have behavioral problems, feel more less
successful, lower effectiveness, anger sense, anxiety and
depression than mothers with healthy children.

Considering studies findings, it seems that identify strategies

Findings showed that the instruction has
caused significant mental health improvement in
experimental group compared to control group
mothers.

Experimental group in all subscales of both the test
and follow-up phase has lower average compared
with the control group. This finding means that
even after controlling for differences in the
experimental and control groups, the intervention
could mean a significant reduction in all subscales
of GHQ.

The Positive Parenting Program was effective to
mothers’ mental health that had children with
attention deficit/hyperactive disorder. Therefore, it
is recommended this method should be used for
mothers of such children.

Part of the effectiveness of the program can be
some information to parents regarding children
and their problems attributed to the treatment
process. In addition, increased information and
knowledge of parents, in turn, can reduce maternal
anxiety and improve false beliefs of parents.

Finally, these reforms will provide promote of
mothers mental and social health.
