ABSTRAKSI
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari kombinasi komposisi media dan
dosis pupuk NPK yang baik bagi pertumbuhan Anthurium sp. Manfaat penelitian
ini agar dapat memberikan informasi penggunaan jenis media atau komposisi media
dan dosis pupuk NPK yang tepat bagi untuk pertumbuhan tanaman Anthurium wave
of love. Hipotesis dalam panelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh interaksi nyata dari
kombinasi komposisi media dan dosis pupuk NPK terhadap parameter
pertumbuhan Anthurium daun wave of love. Perlakuan komposisi media yang
mempunyai tekstur baik dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan tanaman Anthurium
daun wave of love. Perlakuan dosis pupuk NPK yang tepat dapat meningkatkan
pertumbuhan Anthurium daun wave of love
Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Tlogomas Kodya Kabupaten Malang, dengan
ketinggian kurang lebih 550 m dpl. Penelitian ini mulai Nopember 2008 sampai
Maret 2009. Alat yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah gelas ukur,
penggaris, meteran, plastik, pot plastik, bambu, timba, sprayer, spidol, buku dan
alat tulis. Bahan yang digunakan adalah bibit Anthurium (wave of lave), media
cacahan pakis, arang sekam pupuk organik (kandang kambing), pupuk NPK
dekastar plus (NPK=18:9:10), fungisida dithane/ bavistin dan insectisida coracron
and mipcsin.
Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan Rancangan Petak Terbagi
dengan tiga ulangan. Adapun faktor pertama adalah komposisi media (M) yang
terdiri dari 3 komposisi yaitu M1 : Media A (Pakis : arang sekam : pupuk kandang
= (1:1:1), M2 : Media B (Pakis : arang sekam : pupuk kandang = (3:1:1), M3 :
Media C (Pakis : arang sekam : pupuk kandang = (5:1:1), Sedangkan faktor kedua
adalah Dosis Pupuk NPK Majemuk dekastar plus (D) yang terdiri dari 4 level yaitu
D0 : Dosis NPK dekastar plus 0,0 g/tanaman (control), D1 : Dosis NPK dekastar
plus 1,5 g/tanaman, D2 : Dosis NPK dekastar plus 3 g/tanaman, D3 : Dosis NPK
dekastar plus 4,5 g/tanaman. Parameter pengamatan adalah Tinggi tanaman (cm),
Jumlah Daun (helai), Luas Daun per tanaman (cm 2 ), Panjang Tangkai Daun (cm),
Kandungan Khlorofil Daun (SPAD)
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan sebagai bahwa terdapat
interaksi yang nyata antara perlakuan komposisi media dan dosis pupuk NPK
terhadap pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman dan luas daun Anthurium. Kombinasi M2D3
(kombinasi media pakis, arang sekam dan pupuk kandang dengan perbandingan
3:1:1 dan dosis pemupukan 3 g/tan) merupakan kombinasi yang baik bagi
pertumbuhan Anthurium.

ABSTRAC
Research this aim to study of media composition and dosage of NPK
fertilizer which both for growth of Anthurium sp. Benefit of research this can gave
information of usage composition of media and dosage of NPK fertilizer which
both for to growth of Anthurium sp. Hypothesis anticipate there are significant
effect interaction from composition of media and dosage of NPK fertilizer to
parameter growth of Anthurium sp, anticipate the composistion of media can
increase growth of Anthurium sp., anticipate the dosage NPK fertilizer can increase
the growth of wave of love anthurium (Anthurium sp.)
Research hold on Landungsari Kodya Malang in ± 550 m dpl, this research
was done in November 2008 to Mart 2009. The equipment that used in this research
is hoe, plastic spoon, weight, ruler, caliper. The object of this research is the
seedling wave of love anthurium, pakis, charcoal of chaff, organic fertilizer,
dekastar plus NPK (18:9:10), polybag, dithane and bavistin of fungisides, mipcsin
and coracron of insectisides.
The experiment to used the random block design (RAK) by two factor that
in 3 repetition. First factor is composition of of media (M) which consist of 3 level
that is: M1: composition of media (1:1:1), M2: composition of media (3:1:1), M3:
composition of media (5:1:1), Second Factor is dosage of NPK fertilizer which
consist of 4 level that is: D0 control without fertilization, D1 dosage of fertilizer 1,5
g/plant, D2 dosage of fertilizer 3 g/plant, D3 dosage of fertilizer 4,5 g/plant.
Result of the experiment showed that there were significant interaction
between of composition of media and dosage of NPK dekastar plus fertilizer to
parameter height of plant and wide leaf of anthurium. Combination of composition
of media (pakis, charcoal of chaff and organic fertilizer=3:1:1) with dosage 3,0
g/plant give the which result good on growth of Anthurium.
