3. Doing Evaluation When the process of teaching has been done, the researcher gives test to the
student. Then the researcher analyzes the score of the test. From the score, can be seen the improvement of the students’ English vocabulary mastery.
F. The Technique of Collecting the Data
In collecting the data of the research, the writer uses quantitative and qualitative method. The data in the form of qualitative method are obtained from the
observation done by the researcher with the help from the teacher during the teaching learning process. The data in the form quantitative method are obtained from the test.
The test is in the form of written test. The researcher will start from giving pre-test in the beginning of the teaching learning and there are two post tests in the end of each
cycle. After giving the post test, the result of the test will be analyzed to know the degree of student’s vocabulary mastery.
G. The Instrument of Collecting the Data
To collecting the data, the writer uses some instruments, namely; observation, interview, document and test.
1. Observation Burns 1999: 80 says that observation is taking regular conscious
notice of classroom and occurrences which are particularly relevant to the issues or topics are being investigated.

In this research, all activities in the process of teaching and learning vocabulary mastery through suggestopedia will be observed by the researcher
and it will be written in field notes. 2. Interview
Interview is face to face personal interactions which generate data about research issue allow specific to be discussed from other people’
perspectives Burn, 1999: 117. The researcher will interview the students of SMP Negeri 4 Widodaren
Ngawi about their response about learning vocabulary through suggestopedia. 3. Document
Document is a source of data in action research. The researcher will use previous test score as a data.
4. Test Test is type of assessment that consists of a set of questions during a
fixed period of time under reasonably comparable conditions for all students. The researcher will give test to the students before and after the action
research. The test consists of vocabulary that will be taught to the students.
