2 data of this research is 47 data, 40.4 or 19 data belong to noun; then 17 or 8 data
belong to verb, the next one is 27.6 or 13 data belong to adjective and the last categorized is 14.9 or 7 data belong to compound word. 2 The meaning of the
registers has many varieties. Based on Halliday 1975 theory, the description of meaning influenced by three features, they are fields, tenor, and mode. In this research
47 data analyzed one by one; and finally found that every datum has 2.1 of percentage.

A. INTRODUCTION
Communication is the most important thing to every human being. Without a communication, people cannot transfer the information from a person to others. When we
talk about communication, we also talk about statement that there is a language inside. People use language in their communication for taking and giving information,
persuading, describing, offering, asking, and many more. Sometimes, a language in one area is not accepted clearly by other areas. It is the effect of language varieties in many
societ ies. Conditions of society influence the people‟s creativity in creating a new word in
community. There are many communities in this era, not only in the real life, but also in media online. We can find some communities which still exist there. Some communities
have their language that only the member who knows the meaning of the language. The language comunities are also called by register. That is why, people in some communities
should understand the meaning of each register to make communication clearly on each member in that community.
The register has many objectives, one of them just makes the communities have special prestige. The communities which still exist in media online is FJB Forum Jual
Beli trading forum is very popular in Indonesia, especially FJB which developed by Kaskus.co.id. The member of this community use register to make interaction in the
forum. They use the new words by making acronym or abbreviation which is put from the meaning of the word in commonly, some words come from the phenomenon which
happen in the reality.
Researcher focuses on sociolinguistics analysis studying about the register as kind of language variation. The reason of researcher analyzes this case, there will be found some
new words which use of the member of FJB in Kaskus.co.id, so that it gives more information about the definition of register used in this forum. Then it proved that register
used by FJB user is one of developing language for creativity result of the language uses.
B. RESEARCH METHOD
This is a qualitative research, Bog and Taylor Moleong, 2000: 3 say: “Qualitative method is a research procedure that results in descriptive data, either in
written and oral form of people or other behavior that can be studied.” Qualitative research is concerned with developing explanations of social phenomena Hancock,
2009: 6-7. It aims to help people to understand the social phenomena and the reason of the phenomena. It also focuses on description and interpretation and might lead to
development of new concepts or theory, or to an evaluation of an organizational process. By using a descriptive method, the writer aims to determining the research object, data
and data sources, method of collecting data and method of analyzing data.
The data of this research are registers which represent as words in written conversation. There are 47 data of register is used by users

which is shown in the website, especially until last year of 2015.
Related to the focus of the study in the first chapter, it suggests two steps how the researcher describes the technique of analyzing the data:
Step 1 focusing on the linguistics form: a.
Reading the threat which is posted by users of FJB Online

Reading the sequence comments which placed below of the threat. c.
Searching for the comments containing register. d.
Selecting the data that represent as a word. Step 2 focusing on the meaning of register:
a. The researcher tries to describe the meaning of register language used in

The researcher tries to analyze the register in

by using the theories which are already explained in advance.
c. The researcher then explains further the content and context of the register used
in the register in

based on the theory being used.
