Sebuah penelitian telah diiakukan uutuk mempelajari sifat-sifat produksi iuduk
lceli~~ci
muda persilangan yang dikawinkan pada bobot hidup lebih dari 2 kg, dengan
pemberian jumlah penguat yang berbeda. Penelitian dilakukan di Laborato~ium
Te~uakRulninausia Kecil, Fakultas Pete~nakauInstitut Pertanian Bogor, pada bulan
Maret sampai Agustus 2000.
Sebauyak 8 ekor k e h c i betina muda persilangan dengau rataan bobot hidup
1.574,375 F 113 g, diielompokkan ke dalam 2 perlakuan pemberian penguat yaug
berbeda jumlahnya. Perlakuan 1 ( R l ) diberikan penguat sebanyak 100 g/ekox/hari d m
perlakuari 2 (R2) sebanyak 50 g/ekor/hari. Perkawinan dituuggu sampai mencapai
bobot bidup di atas 2 kg dan dinyatakm sebagai bobot kawin. Parameter yang diamati
meliputi pertambahan bobot hidup barian hingga mencapai bobot kawin, bobot
kawin, lama kebuutingan, litter size, rataan bobot lahir dan moltalitas auak hingga

umur tiga minggu. Dipelajari pula pengaruh jumlah penguat tersebut terbadap
konsumsi Bahan Kering (BK) barian, konversi pakan, pertumbuhan anak dan kondisi
fisik induk. Pengolahan data dilakukan deugan menggunakau analisa deskriptif. Uji
statistik t (t-Test) dipakai untuk mempelajari korelasi antara bobot kawin, litter size,
rataan bobot lahir dan mortalitas anak pada masing-masing perlakuau (Gaspersz,
1991).
Dari parameter yang diamati diperoleh rataan pertambahan bobot hidup harian,
bobot kawin,lama kebunthgan, litter size sekelahiran, bobot l a h- i~.~

anak kelinci sampai u m u ~tiga minggu pads R1 adalih-: l3,05 g (CV= 14,10%);
2.256,25 g (CV= 7,71%); 28,33 hari; 5 ekor (CV= 20,00%); 40,55 g (CV= 21,28%)
dan 28,89% (CV= 63,55%) secara beturutan. Pada R2 deugan parameter pengamatan
yaug sama diperoleh hasil sebagai berikut : I2,22 g (CV=22,42%); 2.062,50 g (CV=
4,48%); 31,25 hari; 5,25 ekor (CV=42,29%); 44,69 g (CV= 25,71%) dan 20,24%
(CV= 100,05%) secara berurutan pula. Nilai konversi pakan, konsumsi Bahan Keriug
(BK) harian dan pertumbuhan anak keliuci adalah lebih baik pada R2. Diketabui pula
tidak ada korelasi yang nyata (P>0,05) antara bobot kawin, litter size, bobot l a h i dan
mo~talitasanak.
Secara keseluruhan sifat-sifat produksi iuduk adalab lebih baik pada R2 yang

diberikan penguat sebanyak 50 glekorhari. Rendahnya litter size dan rataan bobot
lahir serta mo~talitasauak yang tinggi pada R1 diduga disebabkan jumlah sel telur

yang diovulasikan sedikit, kematian fetus dan tiuggiuya persentase bobot kawiu
iuduk terhadap bobot dewasa. Kondisi iuduk dari kawiu sampai menyusui anak lebih
baik pada R1, disebabkan te~nakmendapatkan julnlab pakan yaug lebih memadai
selama bunting dau menyusui.

AII experiment was cal~iedout to estimate the characteristics of production of
young cross does that mated over 2 kg of liveweight, with the diifereat quantity of
consentrate. The experiment had been done iu Laboratory of Small Rulniilant Faculty
of Animal Husbandary, Bogor Agricultural University on March - August 2000.
Eight young cross does with an average liveweight of 1.574,375 i 113 g, were
grouped into 2 different quantity of consentrate. The f i s t treatment (Rl) was given
coucentrate of 100 g/d/doe and 50 g/d/doe for the second treatment (R2). The mating
was conducted when liveweight of rabbit gained over 2 kg and recorded as the mate
weight. The obseived parameters including daily weight gain, mate weight, long of
pregnaucy, litter size, litter weight at buth and moitality at t h e e weeks. It was also
studied the feed treatments toward daily dry feed intake, feed convertion, litter
growth and physical condition of does. All data were explained by descriptive
analysis. T-test statistical was used to learn colxelation among mate weight, litter size,
litter born weight and mortality at each treatments (Gaspersz, 1991).
From the observed parameters at the &st treatment were obtained the daily
weight gain, mate weight, long of pregnancy, litter size, litter weight at buth and
moitality at three weeks were : 13,05 g (CV= 14,10%); 2.256,25 g (CV= 7,71%);

28,33 d; 5 heads (CV= 20,00%); 40,55 g (CV= 21,28%) aud 28,89% (CV= 63,55%),
respectively. As the same parameters were also obtained 12.22 g (CV= 22,42%);
2.2062,50 g (CV= 4,48%); ?1,25 d; 5,25 heads (CV= 42,29%); 44,69 g (CV=
25,71%) and 20, 24% (CV= 100,05%), respectively for the second treatment. There
was also no correlation (P>0,05) both R1 and R 2 among mate weight, litter size, litter
boin weight and moitality at t h e e weeks.
Generally, R2 with quantity of coucentrate of 50 g/d/doe, the charactelistics of
production of does, dly feed intake, feed convertion and litter growth were better than
R1. The number of ovulated ovum; foetus moltality and higher percentation of mated
weight were suspected as the main limiting factor occuixed the lower litter size and
litter boln weight at the first treatment. Therefore, physical conditon of does at R2
was better than R1 because the feed requirement to pregnant and sucklig was more
sufficient.
