Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa perbedaan hasil pemetaan pasut yang telah dibuat oleh Wyrtki 1961, Pariwono 1985 serta hasil penelitian penulis,
seperti yang dijelaskan dalam Tabel 4.1 di bawah ini :
