ABSTRACT
This paper consists of Introduction, Review of Related Literature, Description of Tenses, and Conclusion. The data for description are taken from
the Jakarta Post which was published on Saturday March 14, 2015 which was written by the Journalists Bloomberg dealing with Rupiah Leads Fall in Asia
Forex Markets, and Harsh V. Pant dealing with India Challenges Old Assumptions, now she is very eager to give a conclusion on it.
The data shown that Bloomberg wrote twenty-one sentences by applying seven edifferent tenses. The tense are 1. Simple Past Tense 34 times 68, 2.
Seimple Present Tense 8 times 16, 3. Present Continuous Tense 3 times 6, 4. Future Tense 1 time 2, 5. Present Perfect Tense 2 times 4, 6.
Past Perfect Tense 1 time 2, and 7. Past Future Tense 1 time 2. Harsh V. Pant in telling the news about India Challenes Ole Assumptions to the readers
there can be seen eight different tenses he used. The tenses he used are 1. Simple Past Tense 41 times 45,6, 2. Simple Present Tense 20 times 22,2, 3.
