Scientific Meeting in Dentistry which is organized by Airlangga University, Indonesia.
There are some scientific programs, table clinis, and exhibition of dental
equipments. The main speakers are from Hiroshima, Malaya and from Indonesia. More
than 20 papers are presented in poster presentation. It containts research reports,
literature studies and case reports in the field of dentistry.

carcinogenesis by the proliferative and apoptotic regulators in EBV infected SCC, like p53, cmyc and bcl-2. EBV Nuclear Antigen-1 (EBNA-1) is One of Gene Product of EBV Role to The
Carcinogenesis.
Detection of EBV was carried out by insitu hybridization and
immunohistochemical analysis to find the expression of EBV Nuclear Antigen-1 (EBNA-1), P53i
(P53inactive), C-myc and Bc12. The Results of expression examination showed significant
difference in the P53i, C-myc, Bcl-2 in oral SCC that was infected by EBV and non infected.
Conclusion that EBNA-1 have roled to carcinogenesis mechanism by expression of P53, Cmyc and Bcl2 in oral SCC. Suggested to describe another gene product of EBV.

ABSTRACT
Previously research explained that fish oil decreased bone resorption. That are
important entity on osteoclast and osteoblast recruitment in bone remodeling are osteopontin
(OPN) and Bone sialoprotein (BSP). OPN and BSP haveyvutsrponmlkihgedcbaUTRLKHGA
arginin-g/ysin-asparlic acid. They are
important to cell adhesion, because can be recognized by bone cell integrine is aV~3 Purpose of
the research was to analyze the effect of fish oil to OPN and BSP functions.
Wistar rats, male, 5 days of age were divided into 3 groups. The first group was
negative control (without treatment). The second group was positive control rats were injected
with lipopolysaccharide (LPS) into left maxillary molar region. The third group, rats were
injected with LPS and provided fish oil orally daily. Each of group was divided into three groups
to decapitate on age of 13 days, 17 days and 21 days. Analyze of SSP and OPN used
immunohistochemically. Statistic analyzes of SSP and OPN used Kruskal-Wallis test.
