2. The Rules of Using Simple Present

In simple present, there are many rules have to known on using verb with ‘es’ and‘s’ form as follow: a. If the verbs that end in ‘e’ just add ‘s’, for example: write + s writes shine + s shines hope + s hopes rise + s rises, etc b. If the verbs that end in one and two consonants just add ‘s’, for example: work + s sets sing + s sings set + s sets help + s helps read + s reads speak + s speaks c.
