RINGKASAN
Analisis Fungsi Produksi Padi di Indonesia. Fitria Ika Puspita Sari, Jurusan
Sosial Ekonomi Pertanian Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jember.
Berdasarkan fenomena produksi beras di Indonesia menunjukkan trend
yang menurun sedangkan disisi konsumsi menunjukkan trend yang meningkat.
Meskipun sudah diakui keberhasilan produksi padi yang terus meningkat, namun
trend produksi masih menurun. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan suatu upaya agar
produk usahatani padi dapat memasuki pasar dan memiliki daya saing yang tinggi.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui trend produksi padi di
Indonesia, mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap produksi padi,
mengetahui efisiensi penggunaan factor produksi. Data yang digunakan dalam
penelitian ini yaitu data sekunder dalam bentuk Time series mulai tahun 19892008. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode deskriptif dan
analitis. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis trend dengan metode
jumlah kuadrat terkecil (Least Square Method), analisis cobb Douglas, dan
melihat nilai IE (indeks efisiensi).
Hasil untuk analisis trend produksi padi yaitu arah positif yang
menunjukkan jumlah produksi padi yang semakin meningkat. Pada analisis cobb
Douglas faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi adalah luas lahan, benih, pestisida
dan pupuk. Faktor yang tidak mempengaruhi produksi yaitu tenaga kerja. Hasil
dari nilai IE (Indeks Efisiensi), penggunaan faktor produksi luas lahan, benih,
pestisida, pupuk dan tenaga kerja tidak efisien.

Function Analysis of Rice Production in Indonesia. Fitria Ika Puspita
Sari, Department of Agricultural Economics Faculty of Social and Agricultural
university of Jember.
Based on the phenomenon of rice production in Indonesia shows a
declining trend while the side show a trend of increased consumption. Despite the
acknowledged success of the rice production continues to increase, but production
is still declining trend. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct so that rice farming
products can enter the market and has a high competitive level.
This research aims to identify trends in rice production in Indonesia, find
out which factors influence the production of rice, knowing the efficiency of
production factors. Data used in this research is secondary data in the form of
Time series began in 1989-2008.Metode used in this research is descriptive and
analytical methods. Data analysis method used is trend analysis by the method of
least squares (Least Square Method), analysis of Cobb Douglas, and see the value
of IE (efficiency index).
Results for trend analysis of rice production is a positive direction
indicating the number of increasing rice production. On the analysis of factors
affecting the Cobb Douglas production is the area of land, seeds, pesticides and
fertilizers. Factors that do not affect the production of labor. Results from the
value of IE (The efficiency index), extensive use of production factors of land,
seeds, pesticides, fertilizers and labor inefficient.

RINGKASAN
Analisis Fungsi Produksi Padi di Indonesia. Fitria Ika Puspita Sari, Jurusan
Sosial Ekonomi Pertanian Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jember.
Berdasarkan fenomena produksi beras di Indonesia menunjukkan trend
yang menurun sedangkan disisi konsumsi menunjukkan trend yang meningkat.
Meskipun sudah diakui keberhasilan produksi padi yang terus meningkat, namun
trend produksi masih menurun. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan suatu upaya agar
produk usahatani padi dapat memasuki pasar dan memiliki daya saing yang tinggi.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui trend produksi padi di
Indonesia, mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap produksi padi,
mengetahui efisiensi penggunaan factor produksi. Data yang digunakan dalam
penelitian ini yaitu data sekunder dalam bentuk Time series mulai tahun 19892008. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode deskriptif dan
analitis. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis trend dengan metode
jumlah kuadrat terkecil (Least Square Method), analisis cobb Douglas, dan
melihat nilai IE (indeks efisiensi).
Hasil untuk analisis trend produksi padi yaitu arah positif yang
menunjukkan jumlah produksi padi yang semakin meningkat. Pada analisis cobb
Douglas faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi adalah luas lahan, benih, pestisida
dan pupuk. Faktor yang tidak mempengaruhi produksi yaitu tenaga kerja. Hasil
dari nilai IE (Indeks Efisiensi), penggunaan faktor produksi luas lahan, benih,
pestisida, pupuk dan tenaga kerja tidak efisien.

SUMMARRY
Function Analysis of Rice Production in Indonesia. Fitria Ika Puspita
Sari, Department of Agricultural Economics Faculty of Social and Agricultural
university of Jember.
Based on the phenomenon of rice production in Indonesia shows a
declining trend while the side show a trend of increased consumption. Despite the
acknowledged success of the rice production continues to increase, but production
is still declining trend. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct so that rice farming
products can enter the market and has a high competitive level.
This research aims to identify trends in rice production in Indonesia, find
out which factors influence the production of rice, knowing the efficiency of
production factors. Data used in this research is secondary data in the form of
Time series began in 1989-2008.Metode used in this research is descriptive and
analytical methods. Data analysis method used is trend analysis by the method of
least squares (Least Square Method), analysis of Cobb Douglas, and see the value
of IE (efficiency index).
Results for trend analysis of rice production is a positive direction
indicating the number of increasing rice production. On the analysis of factors
affecting the Cobb Douglas production is the area of land, seeds, pesticides and
fertilizers. Factors that do not affect the production of labor. Results from the
value of IE (The efficiency index), extensive use of production factors of land,
seeds, pesticides, fertilizers and labor inefficient.
