Udang Windu di Kecamatan Bangil Kabupaten Pasuruan . Di bawah bimbingan Drh. Sri
Samsundari,MM sebagai pembimbing Utama dan Budi Setyono,S.Pi sebagai pembimbing
Pendamping.
Penelitian mengenai identifikasi jenis plankton dan makrozoobenthos pada tambak tradisional
udang windu di Kecamatan Bangil Kabupaten Pasuruan dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari sampai
bulan Maret 2007.
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan dan juga pengaruh parameter
biologis air (plankton, benthos) terhadap tingkat kesuburan perairan pada tambak tradisional
udang windu (penaeus monodon) di Kecamatan Bangil Kabupaten Pasuruan.
Batasan variabel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah plankton, benthos, kualitas air.
Jenis yang diperoleh dari hasil penelitian terdiri dari Cyanophyceae (alga biru) tiga spesies,
Chlorophyceae (alga hijau) lima spesies, Chrysophyceae (alga kuning) tujuh spesies dan
Zooplankton tiga spesies.
Dari perhitungan regresi linier berganda telah ditemukan nilai korelasi yang menyatakan
hubungan korelasi antara kelimpahan (Y) dengan parameter fisika dan kimia seperti suhu 15.0
%, kecerahan 08.8 %, salinitas 16.6 %, pH -07.8 %, DO -19.1 % dan nilai R nya sebesar 11.4
%.Nilai- nilai hubungan korelasi tersebut dapat dinyatakan dengan persamaan Y = a+bx yaitu Y=
-548.576 + 7.371 + 12.349 + 13.640 - 83.490 + 58.309 .

The identification of the species of plankton and makrozoobnethos in traditional shrimp fishpond
was conducted in January to March 2007.
The purpose of this study is to investigate both the correlation and the effect of the parameter of
biological water (plankton, benthos) on the level of fertility of waters in traditional shrimp
fishpond in Bangil Pasuruan.
The limitation of the variables used in this study are plankton, benthos, the quality of water.
The species obtained from the study consist of three species of Cyanophyceae (blue algae), five
species of Chlorophyceae (green algae), seven species of Chrysophyceae (yellow algae) and
three species of zooplankton.
From linier regression measurement it has been found the correlation stating correlation between
overflow with physic and chemical parameter such as temperature 15.0 %, brightness 08.8 %,
salinity 16.6 %, pH -07.8 %, DO -19.1 % and the value of R square as much as 11.4 %.
Those correlation values can be stated by mathematical formula Y = a+bx with Y= -548.576 +
7.371 + 12.349 + 13.640 - 83.490 + 58.309 .
