3. The Body The body is the main and the largest part of a letter. As the main
part, it is made up of one or more paragraphs in which the main idea of the letter.
4. Complimentary Closing The complimentary closing is like saying good-bye. You can do
capitalize only in the first word of your closing. Punctuate it at the end with a comma. “Yours truly,” “Love,” “Sincerely”, and
“Your friend”, “Regards”, are the common closings in the personal
letter as seen in the following examples. The closing should be placed to the right corner of the letter. Line up the first word of
your closing with the first word in your heading. How are you? I am sorry for being late at replying your letter. I am
quite busy lately preparing my exam in the English course. But it has finished. When will you come to visit me in Bandung? I
promise that I will take you around for sight seeing. There are some tourist objects to visit such as Dago pakar botanical garden,
Tangkuban Parahu crater and Ciater hot spring. I am sure that you can enjoy many things, especially teh foods. There are some
famous culinary delights from Bandung: baksotahu, batagor, cireng, seblak and many more.If you try seblak, you will like it
very much because it is identical with hot spice as your favorite. It is very popular here. Well, I am waiting for your coming.

5. The Signature The Signature is the part where you sign your name. You may
sign with your first name only, if the person receiving the letter would recognize you from just your first name. In other respect,
you may use your full name. You may sign your name beneath the closing and line up your name with the first letter of the
letters.
