KATA PENGANTAR
Kurikulum 2013 di SMALB mulai diterapkan pada tahun ajaran 2013/ 2014 dan kurikulum ini berbasis kompetensi. Sehubungan dengan hal tersebut, Dit. Pendidikan Khusus dan Layanan Khusus Direktorat Jenderal Pendidikan Menengah sudah menyiapkan seperangkat standar Kompetensi Lulusan, Kompetensi Inti, Kompetensi Dasar kurikulum SMALB 2013, dan seperangkat bahan ajar siswa dan buku guru untuk 5 mata pelajaran (Matematika, PPKn, Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Inggris, Seni Budaya) dengan 3 jenis ketunaan: tuna netra, tuna rungu, dan tuna daksa serta 3 tema untuk 4 jenis ketunaan: daksa sedang, grahita ringan, grahita sedang, dan Autis. Keberhasilan peningkatan kompetensi ini sangat bergantung pada keyakinan, kemauan, dan kerja keras siswa selama mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran dan mempelajari bahan ajar yang tersedia ini.
Kegiatan pembelajaran dalam buku ini menerapkan pendekatan saintifik yang memungkinkan siswa tidak hanya mengembangkan ranah kognitif (pengetahuan) tetapi juga mengembangkan
dan Psikomotor (keterampilan) sehingga siswa dapat mengembangkan diri secara utuh menjadi individu kreatif, inovatif, dan produktif. Selain itu, penilaian dalam buku ini diarahkan pada penilaian otentik untuk mengetahui sejauh mana ketiga ranah itu dapat dikembangkan siswa dan penilaian dapat dilakukan kapan saja sesuai keperluan.

And it happens when we meet new friends, we ask for information about their personal detail. Besides name and address, the introduction can include details such as: where you are from, where you go to school, your hobbies, and much more. In this chapter, you will learn how to introduce oneself by telling personal details and how to introduce others by asking and telling someone‟s
