1. Developing the Preliminary Product
The Development phase of ADDIE model was conducted here. In this part, the model was designed.
Each section’s contents that include descriptions, instructions, blank column, and so forth were made. In this step, the explanation
will be broken down into three sections, namely: introduction layout design, personal statement layout design and main contents layout design.
a. Introduction Layout Design
Since the product would be used by English language teachers, the model was designed as interesting, simple, and practical as possible. Users or teachers
would be discouraged if they come up with conventional teaching journal reflections. Therefore, the product interface was designed to promote
effectiveness, efficiency, and attraction to the users. The descriptions of the contents of the introduction section are stated as follow.
1 Product Descriptions, Main Aims, and Contents
This is the initial page of the product. The introductory page contained brief descriptions
about what the product was all about. The product’s main aims and contents were also described in this page. The introductory page is illustrated
in the figure 4.3.

2 Instruction
Instruction was another part of the introductory pages. This part would explain to the users or teachers about how to utilize the reflection product. The
researcher provided clear descriptions as well as illustration of example in filling out the reflection items. In the self-reflection section, users would find statements
of ‘can-do’ descriptors that help them visualize and chart own competence. Below each statement of the descriptors, users would see a text box containing a bar and
some space to fill out their own descriptions of what progress users have made according to the descriptors. The instruction page is illustrated in the figure 4.4.

3 Teacher Profile
Teacher profile was a particular page where users could fill out their personal data. ‘Teacher profile’ part requires the users to fill in their personal data,
such as name, institution place of teachwork, as well as the date of beginning to use this product. The researcher designed this page by creating some blank text
boxes where users could fill it out. The teacher profile page is illustrated in the figure 4.5.
