  Tujuan skripsi ini adalah merancang sistem basis-data untuk penutupan asuransi (insurance cover) pada PT. Asuransi Purna Arthanugraha secara online dengan menggunakan website. Hal ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi waktu dan tempat bagi internal perusahaan. M etode yang digunakan dalam penulisan skripsi ini adalah : metode Analisa Data dan metode perancangan. M etode Analisa Data dilakukan dengan studi pustaka , survey ke perusahaan untuk meneliti dan menganalisa sistem dan data perusahaan , sedangkan metode perancangan yang digunakan dalam skripsi ini adalah metode perancangan DBLC (Database Lifecycle). Hasil yang dicapai adalah sebuah sistem basis-data penutupan asuransi yang memberikan peningkatan efisiensi kerja bagi internal perusahaan yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan produktifitas.
