dua tahap, yaitu tahap studi pendahuluan (meliputi studi kepustakaan, survei
lapangan, dan penyusunan produk awal) dan tahap pengembangan model (uji
coba terbatas).

tergolong baik.

ABSTRACT
This research aims to develop a guided inquiry-based student’s worksheets on
reaction of oxidation reduction topic and to know the quality of student’s
worksheets which is developed by teacher assessment, feasibility lab and
student’s responses. The steps in conducting this research consisted of two steps
namely preliminary study (including literature studies, field surveys and
preparation of the initial product) and model development (limited trial). The
source of the data in this study were high school chemistry teachers in Bandung
and the students who had received the prerequisites material in one of private high
schools in Bandung. The results of this research on the preliminary studies

indicated that the characteristics of the student’s worksheets of the reaction
oxidation reduction that were used in high school were student’s worksheets with
direct instruction (cook book). In this study, the characteristics of the student’s
worksheets that were developed were designed by the students. The results of
model development showed that the quality of the inquiry student’s worksheets
according to the enforceability of student’s worksheet was categorized as very
good level (86.65%). Moreover, according to the students’ response the result
were also classified as very good level with percentage 83.44%. From the data of
teacher’s and lecturer’s assessment toward the quality of inquiry student’s
worksheet which were developed from conformity of student’s worksheet with the
concept was obtained average score 78.86%. Additionally, based on the
assessment of conformity to the grammar of worksheets was obtained average
percentage 82.89%.
Thus, the quality of guided inquiry-based student’s
worksheets on sub topic identification of ethanol in fruit drinks that were
developed was categorized as good level.
