Abstract
In general use, eigenface have shown good result for recognizing
a face in a given image. This paper discusses the designing and
implementing a simulation of land fertility recognition on taxonomy
map.When an image is being inputted, the eigenface system will recognize
whether the image is Central Java or not. If it is, then the system will
present the facility of cropping. While a part of the land is being cropped,
the system will decompose the color of the input image and then recognize
the level of fertility. Observation has shown that the system can recognize
the input image with the level of succeed of 80%.
