AIRASIA TERHADAP KEPUTUSAN BERKUNJUNG WISATAWAN KE
SINGAPURA

Singapura merupakan negara maju yang berada tidak terlalu jauh dari Indonesia.
Singapura memiliki kelasnya tersendiri sebagai tujuan wisata. Dengan meningkatnya
keinginan wisatawan untuk berlibur ke luar negeri, Singapura menyuguhkan destinasi
wisata kelas dunia dan di dalamnya telah dilengkapi dengan akses yang baik dan sarana
prasarana yang lengkap. Dengan minat wisatawan yang tinggi, muncul penawaran
penerbangan tarif rendah yang memberikan layanan penerbangan dengan harga yang
murah dibandingkan dengan maskapai penerbangan full service. Dengan kemudahan
yang diberikan, kemungkinan minat wisatawan semakin tinggi untuk mengunjungi
Singapura. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur pengaruh keberadaan penerbangan
tarif rendah dari maskapai AirAsia terhadap keputusan berkunjung wisatawan ke
Singapura. Pada penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik
analisis regresi linear sederhana. Sampel berjumlah 100 orang yang dihitung dengan
rumus slovin, dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Dari penelitian ini
didapatkan hasil bahwa nilai konstanta sebesar 24.653. Sedangkan koefisien regresi b

bernilai 0.110, nilai adjust R pada penelitian ini sebesar 0,258, hal itu menandakan bahwa
variabel penerbangan tarif rendah mempunyai pengaruh positif terhadap keputusan
berkunjung sebesar 0,258 dengan presentase sebesar 25,8%. Artinya, korelasi yang
dihasilkan masuk pada kategori rendah,yang berarti wisatawan yang mengunjungi
Singapura tidak terpaku oleh penerbangan tarif rendah saja, melainkan wisatawan akan
tetap mengunjungi Singapura karena adanya citra yang baik dari Singapura sebagai
destinasi wisata dunia. Sehingga dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa menggunakan atau pun
tidak menggunakan maskapai tarif rendah, wisatawan akan tetap mengunjungi Singapura
karena citra dari Singapura sebagai destinasi wisata dunia.

THE INFLUENCE OF AIRASIA AIRLINES AS A LOW COST CARRIER
TOWARDS TOURIST VISITING DECISION TO SINGAPORE

Singapore is one of the advanced country located near Indonesia, Singapore has it own
class as the tourist destination. With the increasing demand of tourist to go abroad,
singapore served world class tourist destination and enriched with good access and
equipped by complete facilities and infrastructure.With the high tourist interest, appear
the offer of low cost carrier that gives low-cost service compared with full service
airline. With the ease given, the probabilities of tourist interest get higher to visit
singapore. This research objective is to measure the influance of the existence low cost
carrier from AirAsia airline towards tourist visitation decision to singapore. On this
research using quantittative methods with simple analysis regression linear analysis. The
total sample researcher take is 100 people that counted by slovin formula, chosen by
sampling purposive technique. From this research obtained the value results of the
constant is 24,653, and the regression coefficient b value result is 0,110, adjust the value
of R in the research is 0.258, it indicates that a variable low-fare airline has a positive
influence about 0.258 with percentage of 25,8%. It means the correlation is generated on
the low category, it means that tourist who visit Singapore is not only look for low cost
airline, however tourist will visit singapore because the good image from singapore as
world class tourist destination. So the conclusion with or without low-cost airline, tourist

will visit Singapore because of image as world class tourist destination.
