Struktur Permukiman di Kampung Badur
ABSTRAK
Permukiman dapat terbentuk secara terencana maupun tidak terencana didukung
oleh faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Dalam hal ini, terdapat struktur
permukiman yang dipengaruhi faktor fisik maupun non fisik. Salah satu potret
permukiman tidak terencana di Kota Medan terlihat pada daerah yang tumbuh di
pinggiran sungai. Dalam penelitian ini, dipilih Kampung Badur yang terletak di
Kecamatan Medan Maimun, Kota Medan yang tumbuh di pinggiran sungai Deli.
Pada observasi awal di kawasan penelitian, terdapat adanya pengaruh keadaan
sosial, aspek ekonomi dan aspek komunikasi yang membentuk permukiman
tersebut. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu, dengan
melakukan observasi awal dan wawancara untuk mengkaji aspek-aspek yang
berpengaruh pada kawasan tersebut. Kemudian, hasil dari pengamatan dikaitkan
dengan kajian teori yang berhubungan dengan permasalahan penelitian. Penemuan
dari penelitian tersebut berupa kajian-kajian mengenai faktor yang membentuk
Kampung Badur. Kajian tersebut kemudian diharapkan dapat bermanfaat dalam
mendukung teori mengenai struktur permukiman tidak terencana. Selain itu, dapat
dijadikan referensi bagi pemerintah dalam mengatur permukiman tidak terencana.

ABSTRACT
Settlement may be formed as planned and unplanned supported by the factors that
influence it. In this case, there is a structure of settlement influenced by physical
and non-physical factors. One portrait of unplanned settlements in Medan look at
the areas that grow on the riverside. In this study, selected Kampung Badur
located in the district of Medan Maimun, Medan growing at the Deli riverside. In
the preliminary observations in the area of research, there is the influence of social
conditions, economic aspects and aspects of communication which form the
settlement. The methodology used in this study, namely, by performing
preliminary observations and interviews to examine the aspects that affect the
region. Then, the results of the observations associated with the study of the
theory related to research problems. The findings from these studies in the form of
studies on the factors of growth Kampung Badur. The review then expected to be
useful in supporting the theory of the structure of unplanned settlements. In
addition, it can be used as a reference for the government in regulating unplanned
settlements
