Abstract Infinite yaoi fanfiction consumed by Inspirit Fandom constructs meaning
on their daily activities. This study aims to understand how Inspirit Surabaya consumed Infinite yaoi fanfiction and what constructed meaning they make of their consumption. Throughout this research, the writer finds that
InspiritSurabaya consumed Infinite yaoi fanfiction in their everyday life
constructing meaning on their consumption that accepts the same-sex relationships. The samples of this study are six members of Inspirit Surabaya that selected in accordance with the frequency of their consumption of Infinite yaoi
fanfiction . In this research, the writer analyzes Inspirit Surabaya in consuming yaoi fanfiction by qualitative method of in-depth interview and observation.
Moreover, the writer uses “Jenkins Textual Poaches” as the theory to analyze the phenomenon. The finding of this research is Inspirit Surabaya members accept the same-sex relationship through their habit in consuming yaoi fanfiction. To conclude this research, it is emphasized that yaoi fanfiction consumed by Inspirit
Surabaya make them accept the same-sex relationship, especially the members of Infinite .
