PREFACE

"Sharing Our

Ideas" is the second publication of

Forum

Komunikasi /miah (Scientific Communication Forum), a forum for
learned society in Ma Chung University. This forum is a platform for
sharing knowledge for the academic staff of the university.
Since the first year of its founding, this forum has become a
platform where academics, researchers and other members of sjaf
exchange ideas and reveal findings of their studies. At this moment,
when Ma Chung University celebrates its third anniversary, this forum
contributes its second publication of studies and research which has
been presented during the seminars in the university.
This is a book of collection of papers and scientific articles to
enrich the academic world and a contribution by the university as a
place where wisdom is expected to shape the world.

Abstract
The adverse efect of fossil fuel combustions in accumulating green
houses gasses had ensured the urgency in searching possible options
for fossil fuels substitution. Bio-ethanol is one option for green energy.
It can be produced from diferent raw mateials. In this repot focus will
be put on the prospect of lignocelluloses as potential feedstock for bio­
ethanol production.
