3. ANALYSIS

been found one similes, in the song “Total Eclipse of The Heart” have been found
two sinile.
They are:

They are:

school or university, or do other things. Many people sleep for a short time in the

4. CONCLUSION AND SUGGESTION
4.1 Conclusion
Conclusion of the paper about metaphor. Metaphor is a kind of teaching to
know the concept of reality and common in novels, poetry, and conversation.
There are also many metaphors in the lysrics of the song. After analyzing and
calculating all the data of metaphor in Wetlife’s Song lyrics, one of the writer find
some metaphor of Westlife’s song lyrics. There are found 26 data. There are
found 3 data in the form of simile, 16 data in the form pf hyperbole, and 7 data in

the form of personification. The use of simile is eleven point five percent (11,5%),
hyperbole is sixty percent (16%), and personification is seven percent (7%).
4.2 Suggestion
Metaphor are well known as a stylistic feature of literature, but in fact are
found in almost all language use, other than simple explanations of physical
events in the material world. In daily life we need some figures of speech in
words. Their role to beautify the language. Metaphors can make ordinary
language into a beautiful language.
The writer would like to suggest reviews those who are interested in
literature may look at the metaphor to be analyzed Many people do not know what
it is metaphor. So that those who do not know metaphor in the song lysrics
considers not reasonable.
