PROFIL DISPOSISI BERPIKIR KRITIS DAN PENGUASAAN KONSEP

ABSTRAK
Disposisi berpikir kritis dan penguasaan konsep penting dalam
pembelajaran fisika. Namun, ada indikasi disposisi berpikir kritis dan penguasaan
konsep ini belum terfasilitasi secara optimal dalam pembelajaran fisika disekolah.
Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran profil
disposisi berpikir kritis siswa dan penguasaan konsep siswa setelah penerapan
inkuiri terbimbing. Penelitian pre-eksperimental dengan desain one-shot case
study dilakukan pada sample yang berjumlah 37 siswa disalah satu sekolah
kabupaten Cirebon. Untuk melihat adanya pengaruh tersebut, dilakukan
pengukuran disposisi berpikir kritis menggunakan motode observasi sebagai
penilaian sikap kepada siswa disetiap pertemuan dan pengisian kuesioner berupa
angket diakhir pertemuan, serta pengukuran penguasaan konsep dengan cara
pengisian soal tes materi hukum Newton tentang gerak diawal dan akhir
pertemuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh dari model inkuiri
terbimbing terhadap disposisi berpikir kritis dan terdapat hubungan baik antara
disposisi berpikir kritis dengan penguasaan konsep. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan
meningkatnya skor penilaian sikap disetiap pertemuannya, yaitu sebesar 47,6%,
52,4%, dan 68,5%, dengan kriteria rendah, rendah, dan tinggi. Kemudian didapat
skor angket sebesar 78,0%, dengan kriteria tinggi. Sedangkan hasil effect size
terhadap penguasaan konsep yaitu sebesar 1,8 yang berada pada kategori tinggi.

ABSTRACT
Critical thinking disposition and mastery of concepts is important to
learning physics. However, there are indications that the alleged critical thinking
disposition and mastery of concepts is not optimally facilated in teaching physics
at school. Therefore, this study aimed to get a description of critical thinking
disposition and mastery of concepts of students after the application of guided
inquiry. Pre-experimental research design with one-shot case study are conductes
on the sample of 37 students in one high school at Cirebon district.
Observation method is used as an assessment of the attitude of the students at each
session and filled the questionnaire in the form at the last session, and mastery of
concept with instrument test on Newton’s laws of motion material at the firts and
last session. The results showed the influence of the guided inquiry model to the
critical thinking disposition and there is a good relationship between the critical
thinking disposition with mastery of concept. This is evidenced by the increasing
attitude assessment scores in each session which value 47.6%, 52.4% and 68.5%,
with the criteria low, low, and high. Then a score of a quistionnaire were obtained
value 78.0%, with the high criteria. While the results of effect size with mastery
of concept that is equal to 1,8, with the high criteria.
