ABSTRAK
MeliAndalah, 210111100126. Penelitian ini berjudul “Hubungan antara informasi
pada website www.bulogjabar.info dengan pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi
pegawai perum BULOG divisi regional Jawa Barat mengenai perusahaan”. H.
Wawan Setiawan., Drs sebagai Pembimbing utama dan Rosnandar Romli, Drs.,
M. Si sebagai Pembimbing Pendamping. Jurusan Hubungan Masyarakat Fakultas
Ilmu Komunikasi Universitas Padjadjaran Kampus Bandung.
Penelitia ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pencarian informasi
melalui website www.bulogjabar.info yang meliput iimage of reality,
perbandingan image of reality, dan strategi pencarian informasi pada website
www.bulogjabar.info dengan pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi pegawai yang
meliputi informasi institusi, informasi pemeliharaan, informasi sosial, informasi
pembaharuan.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis data
deskriptif dan inferensial melalui uji hipotesis Spearman Rank.Sampel dari
penelitian ini adalah pegawai Perum BULOG Divisi Regional Jawa Barat dengan
menggunakan rumus Slovin Teknik penarikan contoh nonprobabilitas yang akan
digunakan adalah cara dipermudah (convenience sampling) yaitu suatu cara
pemilihan contoh dimana peneliti memiliki kebebasan untuk memilih siapa yang
ditemui dalam member petunjuk-petunjuk penelitian. Dengan jumlah sampel 80
responden dengan menggunakan teori seeking informations.
Hasil penelitian ini yaitu terdapat hubungan yang sangat lemah dan tidak
signifikan antara image of reality, perbandingan image of reality dan staregi
pencarian informasi dengan pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi pegawai mengenai
perusahaan.
Saran penelitian adalah sebaiknya penyajian konten harus lebih memahami image
of reality pencari informasi, perbandingan image of reality pencari informasi, dan
strategi pencarian informasi pegawai karena akan sangat berpengaruh dalam
pencarian informasi yang dibutuhkan pegawai.

information need of the employees of perum BULOG of West Java regional

The research aimed to identify the relationship between information seeking
through www.bulogjabar.info website which include image of reality, image of
reality comparison and information seeking strategy on www.bulogjabar.info
website with the fulfillment of information needs of employees which include
institutional information, maintenance information, social information and update
information.
The research used quantitative method with descriptive and inferential data
analysis through Spearman Rank hypothesis test. The sample was the employees
of Perum BULOG of West Java Regional Division using Slovin’s nonprobability
sampling, particularly convenience sampling which was a type of nonprobability
sampling where the researcher could conveniently select anyone he/she found to
provide him/her the research data. The sample amounted to 80 respondents using
the seeking information theory.
The research result was that there was a weak and insignificant relationship
between the image of reality,the comparison image of reality and strategy
information retrieval of company-related information need of employees.
It could be suggested that the content presentation should comprehend the image
of reality of the information seeker, the image of reality comparison of the
information seeker and the information seeking strategy of the employees because
it would have an effect on the information needed by the employees.
