Pengembangan Aplikasi Document Filing System pada PT. X.
ABSTRACT
Document Filing System is an aplication that will ease company to
manage it’s document, such as transaction form, credit form, open new account
form, customer’s archive, and in/out document to/from the warehouse. And also
manage document’s location and document’s flow such as borrow, return or
remove archive. This aplication is made by C#.NET 2005 and SQL Server 2005
database. Document management system will be more effective and eficient by
this aplication.

PENDAHULUAN
Latar Belakang
PT. X adalah sebuah perusahaan di Indonesia yang bergerak
dibidang perbankan. Perusahaan ini sedang tumbuh dan berkembang
pesat. Hingga saat ini PT. X sudah memiliki ratusan kantor cabang di
seluruh Indonesia.
Berdasarkan pertimbangan di atas, PT. X yang memiliki banyak
nasabah, memiliki kesulitan untuk me-manage lokasi penyimpanan
dokumen, seperti form pembukaan rekening, form kredit / agunan, arsip
nasabah, dan masuk keluarnya dokumen-dokumen lain dari / ke dalam
gudang.
Dengan dibuatnya aplikasi ini diharapkan manajemen dokumen di
perusahaan dapat dikelola dengan baik dan mendukung kegiatan
perusahaan.

Perumusan Masalah
Dari latar belakang diatas, dirumuskan masalah sebagai berikut :

Bagaimana membuat aplikasi untuk mempermudah manajemen
dokumen tersebut?

Fitur-fitur apa sajakah yang terdapat dalam aplikasi tersebut
untuk dapat menanggulangi masalah?

Tujuan dari tugas akhir ini adalah membuat aplikasi yang
mempermudah perusahaan dalam mengatur penyimpanan dokumen dan
ketika mencarinya kembali.

Batasan masalah dalam pembuatan aplikasi ini adalah :

C. Batasan aplikasi :
Aplikasi yang akan digunakan di perusahaan menggunakan
otentikasi dengan Active Directory, sedangkan untuk demo
ketika sidang hanya menggunakan login sederhana.
Hanya mencakup 2 unit kerja, yaitu Custodian Unit dan GA
Unit.
Tidak menangani pembacaan file Excel ke database.
Tidak menangani pencetakan report.
Menggunakan beberapa komponen (NISP control / toolbox,
NISP query, NISP standard form, NISP login) yang sudah
terintegrasi dengan aplikasi lain di perusahaan.

Sumber data yang digunakan dalam pembuatan aplikasi ini berasal
dari buku, e-book, internet, dokumen kerja dari PT. X dan teman-teman di
PT. X.

Sistematika penulisan yang digunakan dalam laporan
tugas akhir ini yaitu :
BAB I PENDAHULUAN.
Berisi uraian mengenai latar belakang, perumusan masalah,
tujuan, batasan masalah, sumber data, dan sistematika
penulisan dalam pelaksanaan tugas akhir.
BAB II KAJIAN TEORI
Berisi
teori-teori
dasar
yang
akan
digunakan
dalam
menyusun laporan tugas akhir ini.
BAB III ANALISIS DAN PERANCANGAN
Berisi hasil analisis dan perancangan sistem / aplikasi yang
dibuat, antara lain ERD, UML, relasi tabel dan konsep
perancangan design aplikasi.
BAB IV HASIL TERCAPAI
Berisi penjelasan mengenai sistem / aplikasi yang telah
dicapai dan cara-cara penggunaan aplikasi tersebut.
BAB V EVALUASI
Berisi hasil evaluasi secara singkat dari sistem / aplikasi
yang telah dibuat.
BAB VI PENUTUP
Berisi kesimpulan dan saran-saran dari penulis untuk
pengembangan kedepannya.

VI.1 Kesimpulan
Fitur-fitur yang terdapat dalam aplikasi ini yang berfungsi untuk
mempermudah manajemen dokumen, yaitu :

Dengan menggunakan aplikasi ini, masalah pada perusahaan
dalam mengelola dokumen-dokumennya telah terselesaikan. Pada
aplikasi ini user dapat mencatat lokasi penyimpanan beserta detail
dokumen tersebut, sehingga sangat mudah dan cepat untuk dicari ketika
diperlukan.
VI.2 Saran
Aplikasi ini perlu terus dikembangkan agar dapat sesuai dengan
kebutuhan yang ada pada PT X, karena tidak menutup kemungkinan
terjadinya perubahan proses bisnis yang dapat merubah beberapa bagian
dalam aplikasi ini. Aplikasi ini juga masih harus ditambah beberapa fitur
untuk lebih menunjang kegiatan-kegiatan di PT. X, seperti pencetakan
report dan pembacaan file Excel.
Selain itu, untuk perkembangan ke depan lebih baik menggunakan
aplikasi berbasis web. Karena aplikasi berbasis web memiliki banyak
kelebihan dibanding aplikasi berbasis desktop. Aplikasi berbasis web
dapat dijalankan dimanapun dan kapanpun tanpa harus melakukan
penginstalan terlebih dahulu. Lalu dapat dijalankan di semua sistem
operasi. Dan juga tidak perlu spesifikasi komputer yang tinggi untuk
menggunakan aplikasi berbasis web.

BAB I
I.1
PENDAHULUAN
Latar Belakang
PT. X adalah sebuah perusahaan di Indonesia yang bergerak
dibidang perbankan. Perusahaan ini sedang tumbuh dan berkembang
pesat. Hingga saat ini PT. X sudah memiliki ratusan kantor cabang di
seluruh Indonesia.
Berdasarkan pertimbangan di atas, PT. X yang memiliki banyak
nasabah, memiliki kesulitan untuk me-manage lokasi penyimpanan
dokumen, seperti form pembukaan rekening, form kredit / agunan, arsip
nasabah, dan masuk keluarnya dokumen-dokumen lain dari / ke dalam
gudang.
Dengan dibuatnya aplikasi ini diharapkan manajemen dokumen di
perusahaan dapat dikelola dengan baik dan mendukung kegiatan
perusahaan.

Perumusan Masalah
Dari latar belakang diatas, dirumuskan masalah sebagai berikut :

Bagaimana membuat aplikasi untuk mempermudah manajemen
dokumen tersebut?
2.
Fitur-fitur apa sajakah yang terdapat dalam aplikasi tersebut
untuk dapat menanggulangi masalah?

Tujuan
Tujuan dari tugas akhir ini adalah membuat aplikasi yang
mempermudah perusahaan dalam mengatur penyimpanan dokumen dan
ketika mencarinya kembali.

Batasan masalah dalam pembuatan aplikasi ini adalah :

Sistem operasi : Microsoft Windows XP Professional SP 2
Sistem Basis Data : SQL Server 2005
Bahasa Pemrograman : C#.NET 2005
Editor Pemrograman : Visual Studio.NET 2005

Batasan perangkat keras :
Processor Intel Pentium IV 1.83GHz.
Memory DDR2 512 MB.
Harddisk 80 GB.
Keyboard + Mouse
C. Batasan aplikasi :
Aplikasi yang akan digunakan di perusahaan menggunakan
otentikasi dengan Active Directory, sedangkan untuk demo
ketika sidang hanya menggunakan login sederhana.
Hanya mencakup 2 unit kerja, yaitu Custodian Unit dan GA
Unit.
Tidak menangani pembacaan file Excel ke database.
Tidak menangani pencetakan report.
Menggunakan beberapa komponen (NISP control / toolbox,
NISP query, NISP standard form, NISP login) yang sudah
terintegrasi dengan aplikasi lain di perusahaan.

Sumber data yang digunakan dalam pembuatan aplikasi ini berasal
dari buku, e-book, internet, dokumen kerja dari PT. X dan teman-teman di
PT. X.

Sistematika Penulisan
Sistematika penulisan yang digunakan dalam laporan
tugas akhir ini yaitu :
BAB I PENDAHULUAN.
Berisi uraian mengenai latar belakang, perumusan masalah,
tujuan, batasan masalah, sumber data, dan sistematika
penulisan dalam pelaksanaan tugas akhir.
BAB II KAJIAN TEORI
Berisi
teori-teori
dasar
yang
akan
digunakan
dalam
menyusun laporan tugas akhir ini.
BAB III ANALISIS DAN PERANCANGAN
Berisi hasil analisis dan perancangan sistem / aplikasi yang
dibuat, antara lain ERD, UML, relasi tabel dan konsep
perancangan design aplikasi.
BAB IV HASIL TERCAPAI
Berisi penjelasan mengenai sistem / aplikasi yang telah
dicapai dan cara-cara penggunaan aplikasi tersebut.
BAB V EVALUASI
Berisi hasil evaluasi secara singkat dari sistem / aplikasi
yang telah dibuat.
BAB VI PENUTUP
Berisi kesimpulan dan saran-saran dari penulis untuk
pengembangan kedepannya.

VI.1 Kesimpulan
Fitur-fitur yang terdapat dalam aplikasi ini yang berfungsi untuk
mempermudah manajemen dokumen, yaitu :

Manage Warehouse
Search Document
Dengan menggunakan aplikasi ini, masalah pada perusahaan
dalam mengelola dokumen-dokumennya telah terselesaikan. Pada
aplikasi ini user dapat mencatat lokasi penyimpanan beserta detail
dokumen tersebut, sehingga sangat mudah dan cepat untuk dicari ketika
diperlukan.
VI.2 Saran
Aplikasi ini perlu terus dikembangkan agar dapat sesuai dengan
kebutuhan yang ada pada PT X, karena tidak menutup kemungkinan
terjadinya perubahan proses bisnis yang dapat merubah beberapa bagian
dalam aplikasi ini. Aplikasi ini juga masih harus ditambah beberapa fitur
untuk lebih menunjang kegiatan-kegiatan di PT. X, seperti pencetakan
report dan pembacaan file Excel.
Selain itu, untuk perkembangan ke depan lebih baik menggunakan
aplikasi berbasis web. Karena aplikasi berbasis web memiliki banyak
kelebihan dibanding aplikasi berbasis desktop. Aplikasi berbasis web
dapat dijalankan dimanapun dan kapanpun tanpa harus melakukan
penginstalan terlebih dahulu. Lalu dapat dijalankan di semua sistem
operasi. Dan juga tidak perlu spesifikasi komputer yang tinggi untuk
menggunakan aplikasi berbasis web.
